“Cop pulled the guy over”

Is a fish and game guy really a cop? And if he thinks he is, and other people think he is, is that a good thing?

Too much gestapoization going on these days. You could have knocked me over with a feather the first time I heard that some EPA crudbuckets carry guns.

In most states a DNR or wildlife officer has the same powers as the state police.

They can and do enforce all the laws of the state.

In Oregon F&G officers are State Police officers, they transfer into the F&G section after being on the force for some time. Don’t know exactly how Florida does it.
