Durham, N.C. — Duke University has fired an employee who faces federal child sex charges. Frank M. Lombard, 42, of 24 Indigo Creek Trail in Durham, was let go from his position as associate director of the Center for Health Policy at Duke, a spokesman said.

Duke Vice President for Public Affairs Michael Schoenfeld said Lombard was placed on unpaid leave at the time of his arrest June 24 and was fired Monday. Schoenfeld added that the university was cooperating with the investigation.

Lombard faces extradition to Washington, D.C., to face charges that he solicited an adult to have sex with his adopted 5-year-old child.

Officers of Washington's Metropolitan Police Department and the FBI’s Charlotte Division worked together to investigate claims against Lombard.

According to the affidavit for his arrest, an undercover officer from the Washington police identified Lombard through an Internet sting.

A search warrant filed for Lombard's house further outlines the case against him and includes a transcript of the chat between an undercover officer and "F.L."

In the chat, "F.L.” told the officer that abusing the child was "easier when he was too young to know what was happening and when he couldn't talk ...He had a little too much Benadryl. Was knocked out."

In a subsequent online chat, the warrant says, “F.L.” invited the officer to fly to Durham to have sexual contact with the child. He even suggested a hotel.

Lombard faces a federal charge of attempting to induce someone to cross state lines to engage in a sexual offense. He was being held without bond at the Durham County jail Friday. A conviction would carry a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison

From coast to coast, all the CBS affiliates seems to have covered it but not ABC or NBC. And no cable news channels either. No CNN, no pMSNBC and not even FoxNews.

How are they any worse than any other adoption center that places children with queers? The law says queers can adopt. There was nothing at the time in this slimebag’s background to make him ineligible to adopt.

The culture and the law are the problem. The fact that we have mindless bureaucrats following policies that arise from our culture and our law is beside the point. This adoption should not have been possible in the first place.

A question I have is what were these two queers going to do about silencing these boys when they got old enough to do something about their situation? Kill them? What?

And was this slimebag requesting money from the undercover cop he offered the boy to? I mean, why would he do that unless it was for money or possibly blackmail? Or was he working to advance the mission of NAMBLA? I mean, why would a person risk doing that? He can’t possibly be a stupid man or he wouldn’t have gotten the job as head of Duke health education or whatever it’s called. Was he hoping to or did he have reason to believe that doing these things to these little boys would turn them queer as they reached puberty as a way to increase the numbers of queers in the country, which is indeed a stated goal of activist queers? There’s got to be more to the story, at least in terms of motive.

I thought I read that social services took the child. They will have to follow up. Unless the gay partner co-adopted him (unlikely), the agency will be under obligation to keep an eye on this child, even if the other "daddy" is able to regain foster father status through the court.

I don't believe he was a professor, which is a coveted title on a college or university campus which usually indicates that you hold a PhD as well as a tenured teaching position. And, depending on the campus, you may additionally have to meet other somewhat esoteric criteria before claiming the title of "professor".

Obama is frequently mischaracterized as a former professor of constitutional law. When in fact, he was just a lecturer with a class or two.

They took all three boys. There were three adopted black boys in that household. The specific victim in this case was the youngest of the three, I believe.

It seems quite possible that more charges will follow as the other two boys are examined and interviewed.

But with Durham city government being another example of local rat political control, don’t expect a whole lot to come of this.

One immediately notices a great deal less fervor on and off campus to castrate this suspect, as compared to the lacrosse case, or to protest march on campus and from the church to the suspect’s residence.

And where are the NEW Black Panthers when you need them? Don’t they care about these little boys being victimized by evil white men? Or are they too busy intimidating white voters and blocking the entrances to polling booths to take time out to make a stand for these three boys? And where is Jesse? I mean, where did he get to? Is he on summer vacation? He did or was going to pay for lying whore Crystal Mangum’s college education. Is he establishing same for these boys and ensuring that they have the very best counseling money can buy? I know the taxpayers paid for Mangum’s counseling for a rape that never occurred. What about the repeated rapes and pimping of a black 5 year-old?

It’s strangely quiet on the Durham front.
