I hope any new Constitutional government would include term limits for all members of the House and Senate. Our presidents are limited to two 4-year terms, and our representatives should likewise be limited to two terms.

There are a few folks who think we need to break laws like the Code Pink folks do to be effective. NOT SO! All we need to do is be present in large numbers, peaceful, and law abiding!
The members of Congress and the government are well aware of what is going on. Remember there is only one thing they think about, and that is being reelected. We need to serve notice on them that they may very well be gone in 2010!
All we need do is continue to be involved and educate others to what is happening to our freedoms at the hands of those in power. More and more of our fellow Americans are learning the truth and that number is growing daily!

A lot of people assume that there are going to be more than one of these marches, but I have to say, getting from here to DC is going to be a huge ordeal. I will drop everything and go, but not until I know it’s The March. I can’t afford to traipse back and forth for the sake of giving a corrupt administration warnings that will go unheeded.

You need to have your accountant and lawyer on speed dial, hire several new employees just to handle the government paperwork, cross your fingers that you don’t miss something that the government will fine you heavily for, or shut you down for, and basically live, and work, in fear.
If you screw up their procedurs, they’re going to swat you—they want to swat you because they’ll need the money DESPERATELY. They will be actively, tenaciously monitoring and tracking your every move.
And don’t forget, they have state-of-the-art technology nowadays to get the job done—you cannot hide.
I’m in the tech industry and I can tell you that you have only seen the tip of the iceberg in terms of government technology run amuck—there’s scary stuff just over the horizon.
This will open the door to every other possible attack on your freedom, yes YOU!

Lastly, you need to know that the ‘What’s the use.’, ‘It won’t change anything’, ‘I don’t want to be ridiculed.’ type feelings were put there by the left.

Jim, I have been a fan for years, and had been making plans to go to Washington, but I can't be a party to this sort of party. I understand the reasons for someone to feel this way but this posting by itself is just begging for us all to rightly be put on the very watch list that we said was so evil.
They may not follow the rules but the way of it is to take back the government legally by elections and then prosecute all who break the law. No other path is moral or acceptable. You are advocating the rabble take control and that is the last step before the TYRANT takes control in reality.
We need the Constitution to protect us and guide us back, we cannot afford to put it aside and pay outside of the dots just because they are.
Don't continue to nurse this fantasy, or perhaps instead of a million people there will only be a few thousand, and we will have lost our voices.
Mcveigh was the nut who bombed the Alfred P. Murrah building in Oklahoma city. The media was able to use him to discredit the peacefull militia movement. My fear is that if we try a massive march with a demand for the resignation of virtually everyone in the government that violence will result and Obama and the media will be able to use it to discredit us and the conservative movement in the same way that McVeigh was used to discredit the militia movement.
Well, this would sure be one hell of a bloodbath.

I thought FR was about defending our laws and our traditions of freedom and individual responsibility, observing and commenting on media bias, and sharing a patriotic perspective on current events. I never saw advocacy of radical actions in FR’s masthead before.

How do you ‘restore’ the Constitution by abolishing duly passed Constitutional amendments, calling to replace a President and members of Congress outside of an election, who, according to the Constitution are not up for re-election until 2012 and 2010. You cannot defend or restore the Constitution while proposing actions that go against it!
How realistic to advocate such extreme actions, when 95% of those who AGREE with you on the facts, will INSTANTLY DISAVOW the actions taken. (And replacing Obama with Hillary as interim President, please!) And they WONT go along with undoing it; me and 98% of patriotic Americans will prefer the slings and arrows of 4 years under Obama to the risks and dangers of revolution or secession - which will NOT happen.
So why even propose something that will only give the left fodder to give you the Alinsky treatment of “isolation”. Now, everyone who had anything to do with you will be called on by the leftists to agree or disavow your unwise course of action. Why did you give the left the tools to hurt you?
If you want to obey the Constitution, then OBEY THE CONSTITUTION. Advocating ANY form of irregularity, revolution, deposing the govt through extra-ordinary or extra-legal action is AGAINST the Constitution and the laws.
Follow your own creed.
The American people will not allow the tyranny of bad leftwing liberal policies to stand via peaceful, lawful activism and the ballot box. It will be overturned ONLY by tossing out in elections those who do wrong. And with 64 million who swallowed Obama’s koolaid, you (we) have a lot of educating to do.
It’s one thing to fight the very wrong Obama agenda. It’s quite another to advocate a divisive and extreme action like this. One that will NOT happen and will only put the target on YOU as an anti-Government extremist.
Conservatives know that radical overthrow of existing insitutions is fraught with danger. If people who think its nuts to advocate overthrow of the Government dont belong on FR, let the rest of us know. You can turn FR into an obscure fringe extremist site if that’s your wish.
