Eliminate the income tax and eliminate the entire host of ABC agency intrusion into our lives and commerce that feeds the lobby industry and you automatically remove a lot of graft, bribery the fights for favoritism, etc.
No federal disbursements of any kind shall be made to any state, city or local government, private company, organization or person not expressly authorized and enumerated in the constitution.
The federal government is hereby relieved and prohibited of the business of collecting taxes or revenue and then doling it out to special interests or cities, states, corporations, companies, subsidized industries, persons, foreign governments, etc. No federal entitlement programs of any kind are allowed. The government contracts out for supplies expenses for the armed forces and to maintain its constitutionally authorized offices and courts, etc. That’s it.
The federal government’s budget requirement is reduced by 90% over night. Same with its overreaching power grabbing.

Except for services rendered and/or goods purchased. I'd perhaps even leave out the "services rendered" part, and I'm a government (military) service contractor.
Obama is actually doing that, eliminating or at least greatly reducing service contracts, but principally in the military. He says he's going to increase the size of the army, but after he elimiates a bunch of service contractors, and only replaces around 1/3 of them with government civilians, the rest of their current functions will need to be performed by uniformed military, which will make the military effectively smaller, with a higher ratio of tail to tooth.
I'd much prefer to go back to designing and building weapons and other equipment for our military to use than doing what I do now.

Just one caveat...the military (and vets) were short changed for decades after KGB stooges Cronkite and Carter got thru with their demonization. I would hate to see an unintended consequence of this valiant Constitution Restoration any significant downsizing of the VA (we’re finally treating our Vets right via 8 years of Bush). just say’n.
