F22 to Japan and Israel: A Debt of Honor
American Thinjer ^ | July 22, 2009 | Ed Timperlake

America, Israel and Japan are now at a crossroad. America may not be able to sell an export version of the best fighter in the world, the F-22, to Israel and Japan. The reason is the Administration's current insistence on holding fast to a DOD-budgeted production run of F-22s that will stop soon at 187. The harsh reality of stopping F-22 production will be two American allies who are in increasing mortal danger will not have access to the absolute best when they really need America's help. It has been argued that the F-35 is a great substitute for the F-22. It is true the F-35, which is still slipping on delivery schedule, promises to be a very capable air-to-ground aircraft. However to determine the best aircraft to insure total Air Dominance, the F-22 production line should be kept open pending results of a real world instrumented and calibrated Air to Air fly off against the F-35.

This is too logical. Democrats will reject it reflexively.

2 American allies? Yup , they were.

Then Obama decided with its new identity, islamics were better friends. Also, as the war on terror offended them the war was called off in America and Americans were instructed not to fight. (Old fighters? Became criminals). In the meanwhile, America ran home to hide behind the chesterfield allowing islam to move into and recruit jihadists in the livingroom.

It all makes perfect sense for the destruction of America!

With the F 22 we stand a good chance of defeating the world.

We just sell them the ones we have and they will go broke trying to keep the over priced junk flying.

At a 140 million per copy you are taking 20,000 of the most expensive welfare jobs ever created. Right up there with the top dogs of AIG.

See, when you commit to Marxism, you can’t afford to defend yourself anymore. That money has to go to deadbeats. Wonder what Europe is going to do now that the Golden Goose is committing suicide?

Putting America staunchest allies in danger is what he has been arranging and doing step by step from day one of Obama’s presidency. There is no mystery about what this specific cutback is intended to do.

FYI, while and F-15 cost $30 million when the USAF procured the last batch, they now cost $100 million each for the latest version. (F-15SE) Nowhere near as capable as the F-22.

But something has to replace the 600+ F-15's we have which average about a quarter of a century old and have logged far more flight hours then originally designed. (Designed for 4000 flight hours, but our F-15C's will have about 8000 hours average by 2010.)

As an IAF veteran, I beg America to sell them to Israel.
