A Great Letter To Barbara Boxer (Re: Boxer Admonishes Brigadier General; He Addressed Her As Ma'am)
Jim Hill | Monday, July 6, 2009 | Jim Hill

Posted on 07/23/2009 10:08:17 PM PDT by DogByte6RER

Don't know if you saw the TV news clip last week about Barbara Boxer admonishing a Brigadier General because he addressed her as Ma'am and not Senator before a Senate hearing. Anyway this is a letter from a Guard Aviator and Captain for Alaska Air Lines. He hits the nail directly on the head. Maybe we all should send a copy of this letter to the SENATOR

Here is my final draft to Barbara Boxer. Please give it your widest dissemination. I want the world to know at least one scoundrel who masquerades as a wise solon and a congress in whose hand $trillions are spent without even reading the bills.

Babs:

You were so right on when you scolded the general on TV for using the term, "ma'am," instead of "Senator." After all, in the military, "ma'am" is a term of respect when addressing a female of superior rank or position.

The general was totally wrong. You are not a person of superior rank or position. You are a member of one of the world's most corrupt organizations, the U.S. Senate, equaled only by the U.S. House of Representatives.

Congress is a cesspool of liars, thieves, inside traders, traitors, drunks (one who killed a staffer, yet is still revered), criminals, and other low level swine who, as individuals (not all, but many), will do anything to enhance their lives, fortunes and power, all at the expense of the People of the United States and its Constitution, in order to be continually re-elected. Many democrats even want American troops killed by releasing photographs. How many of you could honestly say, "We pledge our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor"? None? One? Two?

Your reaction to the general shows several things. First is your abysmal ignorance of all things military. Your treatment of the general shows you to be an elitist of the worst kind. When the general entered the military (as most of us who served) he wrote the government a blank check, offering his life to protect your derriere now safely and comfortably ensconced in a 20 thousand dollar leather chair, paid for by the general's taxes. You repaid him for this by humiliating him in front of millions.

Second is your puerile character, lack of sophistication, and arrogance which borders on the hubristic. This display of brattish behavior shows you to be a virago, termagant, harridan, nag, scold or shrew, unfit for your position, regardless of the support of the unwashed, uneducated masses who have made California into the laughing stock of the nation.

What I am writing, Senator, are the same thoughts countless millions of Americans have toward Congress, but who lack the energy, ability or time to convey them. Under the democrats, some don't even have the 44 cents to buy the stamp. Regardless of their thoughts, most realize politicians are pretty much the same, and will vote for the one who will bring home the most bacon, even if they do consider how corrupt that person is.

Lord Acton (1834 - 1902) so aptly charged, "Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely." Unbeknownst to you and your colleagues, Mr. Power has had his way with all of you, and we are all the worse for it.

Finally Senator, I, too, have a title. It is "Right Wing Extremist Potential Terrorist Threat." It is not of my choosing, but was given to me by your Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano. And you were offended by "ma'am"?

Have a day. Cheers!

Jim Hill

My brother sent that letter to Babs last week and so did I. I urge all of you to send it to her too. Babs, of course, is too arrogant to even understand the letter. Her staff are probably too scared of her to give it her. Arrogance and ego are in abundance in the US Congress. Even more reason to Vote Them Out and send them packing.

That Harry Alford gave this woman her well-deserved comeuppance just days later is a beautiful thing. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer broad, er, ma’am, er, sinator.

Terrific letter and it’s all true. I’m from her district when she was in the House. Seated next to her table in a S.F. restaurant when she was elected to Senate. Watched her not even raise her head when admirers walked to her table to congratulate her. I was so physically sick recognizing someone like her was now in the Senate, I couldn’t finish my lunch.

I hate this f***ing b*tch! I am ashamed of my state for many reasons, but for no reason more than allowing this sea hag serve in the Senate for the last 17 years.

We BETTER get rid of her 2010.

I hope Larry Elder will be the one who runs against her.

Here is the letter I faxed and snail mailed on 22 June:

Well Done

Thank you for putting that Brigadier General in his place. You really showed him how to address Senators with the proper respect they so deserve. I’m sure the reason why your voice mail boxes are full is due to well wishers like myself.

After all you really “worked hard” to become a Senator didn’t you? Writing checks is hard.. having your husband write checks is probably hard too.

Senator is a title you should be very proud of. You’re the Junior Senator from California, a state facing bankruptcy to the tune of $25 Billion. Well done Junior Senator! You have proven you value a Delta Smelt more than the livelihoods of farmers. Well done Junior Senator! You HAVE worked hard haven’t you?

By all means keep on demanding respect without any proof you deserve it and please continue to disrespect our men and women in uniform. You are a PUBLIC SERVANT. And you disrespected and brow beat a PUBLIC SERVANT. Well Done Junior Senator!

But please carry on. It will make it easier to defeat you in 2010.

“Ma’am”

Proud Marine Dad

Well written letter but, alas, she’ll never read it.

What’s bad is that she’ll easily win re-election.

What’s much worse is that she’ll soon be the senior senator from a bankrupt state. With her intimate understanding of economics and fiscal policy, she’ll one day be the chair-senator of the senate finance commitee.

Just something to look forward to.

California has dairy cattle with a higher IQ than Boxer. The woman’s a doorstop with a skirt.

The bug-eyed Queen needs to be removed from her throne as Speaker. The RATs are showing America how power-hungry they are at a huge cost to our country and our security. Politics is being discussed everywhere and the American people are enraged! RATs are not fairing well out there among the masses. The Elitists in DC are so arrogant they are ignoring the signs of rage brewing. GOP better find their gonads and take the fight to the RATs aboard their sinking ship.

Who are the traitors behind the plot to destroy our country?

Who are the traitors behind the plot to destroy our country?

I think that's been obvious for some time:

a) the radical left in the Dem party;
b) the radical left in the academy;
c) the radical left in the media;
d) the cultural left among the monied;

All of them work day and night for a Leninist, one-party state where they and their allies control all the levers of power and all the wealth of the country.

If they had been hung over their great betrayal during Vietnam, we wouldn't have to put up with the BS now.

LOL

You forgot to add Babs -
“you are an ugly hag”
Your relatives are on the take, you drive a foreign car and are a tax cheat.

Others may add to the list, but this fellow seemed to cover the major points - Pols are, by and large, scum.
