WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A prominent black Harvard University scholar has accepted an invitation to have a beer with President Barack Obama and the white police officer who arrested him in a racially charged case.
Professor Henry Louis Gates said Saturday he was willing to have a peace-making beer with Obama and Cambridge, Massachusetts, police Sgt. James Crowley.

Crowley and Gates will probably hug it out and the media will proclaim Obama a magical race healer.
It was Crowley’s idea.
You know he's under the gun now.......I just hope he says "thank you for the invitation but I'm out of vacation time and I have work to do........." Unfortunately this is a "lose lose situation" for him and a win win for the prof and HObama......

It would seem like he would be paraded in front of camaras and then be in for the biggest lecture of his life of how whitey has wronged the black man with 400 years of opression. This wouldn’t progress anything but Gates’ agenda
I can’t state for sure whose idea it was. maybe axelrod’s .. tho the office of the President would had to have been the initiator of the reaching out call to Crowley, Gates doesn’t look like a beer drinker to me. more a sipper of fine swill.

Sgt. Crowley needs to be taught??? I don't think the problem is with Crowley. Looks like the racists are the professor and Mr. Obama!

This is going to be spun by the White House and the starry-eyed boot lickers in the mainstream press as “Obama Heals The Racial Problems Of Our Nation”...while they also brazenly imply that Crowley apologized to Gates. It won’t be the first time this year that someone (representatives from Caterpillar, the HMOs) left the White House only to find themselves being quoted as saying things which they never did, or agreeing to things they never agreed to.
Bank on it.
Unsure about Marxists but most Black power types I have been around prefer Miller and by a wide margin.
