Harvard scholar Henry Louis Gates Jr. says he is ready to move on from his arrest by a white police officer, hoping to use the encounter to improve fairness in the criminal justice system and saying "in the end, this is not about me at all."

Yep, the cops fought back, most of American see this for what it was, a shake down. And gates didn’t get what he wanted, so it’s time to move on. Problem is there senior gates is that a lot of people will remember this for a while to come.

I think the police officer has a pretty good chance of winning a law suit against Gates (and possibly Oboma) for defamation of character and racism. Gates only attacked the officer the way he did because the police officer was white. Oboma belittled him in front of the nation only because he was white.
Both Gates and Oboma have proven themselves racist, and the "Hate/Enslave Whitey" movement started during this administration has to stop.
If the incident had occurred in some other part of a red state, you would have a chance of that scenario. But this occurred in the heart of liberaldom. The local government is democrat to the last cell and enforcing laws seems to be easily evaded where democrats have absolute control. And, this was a set-up from the beginning and not by the police department.
Sheesh. That guy is already looking for a way to turn a simple disorderly conduct arrest into something he sell.

At around 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, a woman named Lucia Whalen called the police to report two African- American men wearing backpacks attempting to break into Gates’ house on tree-lined Ware St. in Cambridge, Mass.
Whalen, it turns out, works as circulation and fundraising manager at the Harvard Magazine. The publication’s offices are located a few doors from Gates’ home.
Whalen did not immediately return WND’s queries regarding how she failed to recognize in broad daylight one of Harvard’s most distinguished professors.
Also, questions remained about whether her 911 call marked the first time she ever saw Gates outside his home.
According to a police report, Whalen told a police officer when he arrived that “her suspicions were aroused when she observed one of the men wedging his shoulder into the door as if he was trying to force entry.”
I hope the stink stays on this guy... rather than move on, he should just pound sand. I read where he said his mother hated white people. This is a matter of record. I wonder if a white man said that his mother hated black people, if he would have ever succeeded?
So filing a lawsuit is “moving on”? Movin’ on up to the east side.

Gates has some skeletons in his closet he wants to hide. His fake charity tax scam, his free house, his comments on tape.
Did he appologize for being a racist? When he appologizes for being a racist, and tells the people that he fully intended to escalate this incident in order to self promote a notion that Black men are being racially profiled by white police on his website and to other like minded Jeramiah Wright racists. Then and only then can we move on.
