Ok, this is the first I heard that on the hard drive was that Chavez and FARC were the same thing...
I did know that they claimed on a hard drive..supposedly the same one that Rafael Correa´s presidential campaign was financed by them. I also know that Correa´s brother received government contracts in contrary to Ecuador´s laws...so for the meantime he is forbidden from leaving the country while the investigation is ongoing...his trip to Mercosur´s meeting was cancelled by Congress there..Not sure how he is going to manage his way out of this one.
If Chavez is FARC or leads FARC and finances them then you are partially confirming my suspicions...but where is the proof?
I do know that ALBA is a military alliance against the US...Chavez wants to overthrow the US government and it is no secret here that this is his goal..that is why there was such a controversy when Zelaya signed us to ALBA...of course our Congress has already taken steps to suspend our membership in ALBA.

Chavez and FARC were the same thing...

I'm sorry if I'm not clear. That was my analysis. Thats my opinion.

Chavez was on their payroll to the tune of tens of thousands while he was in jail and after. Since becoming president they are on his payroll to the tune of hundreds of millions.

They use Venezuelan territory as their safe rear zone. Their "high value" prisoners are kept on Venezuelan soil. We know that because one of the prisoners that was released was told "lucky you're not very important, you'd have to walk all the way to Venezuela" or something to the effect by one of his FARC guardians. The Colombians have captured several arms caches bearing Venezuelan military markings. There have been numerous attacks launched from across the river from the Venezuelan side. I have read of at least one attack that had Venezuelan air support.

Chavez has often had FARC members on the podium with him during military ceremonies, and before bringing in the Cubans he had FARC as his bodyguards.

He has given FARC leaders Venezuelan citizenship so they could travel freely, and they have lived openly in Caracas.

So based on that I have sometimes said that when Chavez was elected president of Venezuela, FARC conquered Venezuela. And with the death of Marulanda I have made the remark that Chavez is now the defacto head of FARC. But of course that is just my analysis.

That there is a broader conspiracy I agree with you. Is ALBA an extension of FARC or are ALBA and FARC both arms of the Chavist conspiracy? Or are FARC and ALBA and Chavez arms of a broader conspiracy yet, considering his connections to Iran and Al Qaeda and the Castro brothers?

My impression has been that Chavez sees himself as heir to Fidel's revolution, which is why he has supported Cuba financially for years now, and has built strong connections between the Venezuelan military and the Cuban military, his security services and the Cuban security services. I think with the death of the Castros he hopes to be their heir. I think he is already; he finances them, and not the other way around. That in effect puts him in the drivers seat, same as with FARC. Same as with Ortega in Nicaragua and Morales in Bolivia and Correa in Ecuador, and apparently same with the Humala brothers in Peru who have launched a couple of military rebellions there (and their father has called for the release of Guzman, head of Shining Path).

The guy with the money is the guy in control.

In any case, I think you are right in seeing ALBA and FARC as belonging to the same conspiracy. FARC was isolated for a long time with the fall off the Iron Curtain and the Soviet Union, but from the day Chavez took over the nature of the conspiracy has changed and metasticized.
