As President Barack Obama attempts to cool a heated racial row in the US linked to the arrest of a black Harvard professor, a growing conspiracy claims that he is hiding a Kenyan birth certificate, making him ineligible to serve as president.
Conspiracy theorists in the United States and far right wingers, who have begun to call themselves “birthers”, claim that Obama is not entitled to be in the White House simply because he is “foreign born”, the Daily Telegraph said.
According to the conspiracists, there is something suspicious in the absence of a photocopy of Obama’s original birth record, known as the “long form”, even as the White House has published copies of his official birth certificate -—a printed summary of his birth details, including the name of the medical centre in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he was born.
The “birthers” claim that the photocopy of Obama's original birth record would have been prepared by doctors or hospital officials involved in his birth and would contain fuller details, including the address of his parents.
According to Conservative radio host George Gordon Liddy, who was linked to the Watergate burglary, Obama was in fact born in Kenya, his father's home country. He claims to have seen a deposition by the President's Kenyan step-grandmother, 86-year-old Sarah Obama, stating that the city of his birth was Mombasa, the report said. The President is therefore "an illegal alien", Liddy said.

“There have been numerous requests for Sen. Barack Hussein Obama’s official birth certificate. State law (Hawai‘i Revised Statutes §338-18) prohibits the release of a certified birth certificate to persons who do not have a tangible interest in the vital record,” DOH Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino said.
Fukino said she and the registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, have personally verified that the health department holds Obama’s original birth certificate.
“Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai‘i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures,” Fukino said.
Fukino said that no state official, including Gov. Linda Lingle, ever instructed that Obama’s certificate be handled differently from any other.

Big paper in India as far as I know. I think it is the India Times like UK Times and Australian Times.
Not only does a COLB have a date, a city, and a hospital, it also is signed by the attending physician and includes info about both parents including mothers maiden name.
Who was the doctor who delivered Barry? Without a COLB there is not one shred of evidence to suggest Barry was born in America.
I can locate my original COLB with the raised state seal within 30 seconds. What’s the problem with finding Barry’s?

The state “alleges” to have the original birth certificate. But it don’t say if the original was issued in
America or if Hawaii has a country or origin certificate for a minor immigrunt child accompanied by a parent.

To the best of my knowledge no Hawaiian official has said anything more than the long form B.C. is valid. None has ever said that it proved that Obama was born in Hawaii.
This would all go away if O would simply allow Dept of Hawaii to allow interested parties to view the certificate.
eah, well, those involved will always advocate ... Me, I have a COLB from Hawaii - that’s a CERTIFICATE of Live Birth, otherwise know as a birth certificate. Hardly any resemblance to O’s form that was posted online. You wouldn’t believe the information on it; date, time and place of my birth, the hospital, the doctor and his signature, and a complete bio of both my parents. For starters, maybe more. I haven’t pulled it out of my vault recently to look at it. Most of this is absent on Obama’s CERTIFICATION of Live Birth, which is a sketchy unofficial synopsis offered by several states, often stamped as not proof of citizenship, and won’t get you a passport. That’s what I know (or at least what I think I know).

I think the row is more about the feckless comments of a Kenyan president, about the arrest of a black US professor.
For Pete’s sake, what kind of adult doesn’t have at least one legal copy of his birth certificate somewhere at close at hand ... I needed one 18 months or so ago, ordered it on line and the state of Hawaii sent it quite promptly.
Nevertheless I am not saying that he was not born in Hawaii. I am saying that he must be an arrogant jerk to not release his long form B.C. and end any doubt. I as a citizen have been required to release mine several times.
All we are saying
is give release a chance.
Isn’t It “interesting” that the press (aka PRAVDA) simply took the SHORT CERTIFICATION of Live Birth that was PROVIDED BY o’s campaign and the facts contained in his auto-biography (written when he was what? 42?!) as gospel truth.
Yet, they send 1000 reporters up to Wasilla to investigate Palin. Bet they got a copy of her CERTIFICATE (long) of live birth—anything to try and dig up dirt!
Truly, the second biggest problem we have in this country is a biased press, PRAVDA! The sooner the American people figure this out, the better!!!
