A public memorial service planned for Slain Border Patrol Agent

SAN DIEGO -- Memorial Services for fallen Border Patrol Agent Robert Rosas will take place Friday, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials told 10News Monday.
The services will take place on Friday, July 31, 2009, at 9:00 a.m., at Southwest High School, located at 2001 Ocotillo Drive, El Centro, California.
Rosas, a 30-year-old father of two, was tracking a group of suspected illegal immigrants at about 9:15 p.m. near Campo Thursday when he came under fire near the border.

Long past due time to militarize the border. The southern border states' governors should activate some units from their respective National Guards under Title 32 USC, and arm them. They'd catch a lot of flack from the Feds, who don't seem to get this is an invasion. They may not be attacking us with weapons, but they are one of the burdens on us leading to financial ruin.
