I’m not knocking Espiscopals out there, but when you have a Christian Church that does not strictly adhere to what is in the Bible, this is the logical progression. Anything goes... This wacko Episcopagan priestess declared not only that she had converted to Islam, but that she could GO ON being an Episcopagan priestess at the same time!
She was working out in Seattle, and the local Piskie bishop there was all for it and thought it was great.
Unfortunately for the not-so-reverend wacko, she was still canonically subject to her bishop in her home diocese, which was Rhode Island or somewhere else in the NE.
Even though her bishop was a WOMAN, she defrocked this loon.
You know you have to be outhouse-rat crazy for a FEMALE Episcopal bishop to find it necessary to defrock you . . . .
I wonder why ABC is finding it necessary to bring this up now?

Funny thing was, after he let me out of the car, he gunned the motor, burnt rubber and sped away, laughing demonically. Moral: Never go for rides with people who call themselves Jesus, especially not after they buy you a couple of drinks and then you catch them putting something in yours. He didn’t look a bit like I thought Jesus would, either. The gold earring in one ear and the “Mom” tattoo should have clued me in.

Brings to mind another “highly placed” person who professes to be a Christian but is extremely “well versed” in Islam. If only he could be “defrocked”.

I think since they have no strong beliefs of their own, liberals are suckers for any belief that's sure of itself.
Except, of course, Christianity. Maybe we need to get a little tougher on them.
