Why “or”? Can’t it be both?

More like “buyers remorse” and that many are slowly coming around to realize just how radical Barry is along with his “fundamentally change” America agenda(s).

IMHO, the comments to the article are a better read than the article itself.

Ironically if the polls are declining due to Obama’s frequent on-camera appearances that is the one area where he will refuse to budge. His ego simply won’t let him keep hid.

“he ran as a moderate and is governing as a left-winger. With ample evidence that they have been conned, the voters are now registering their disapproval.....”

Can no one think for themselves anymore? Who believed him to begin with? The damn media never reported or questioned any of his past whack left associations....as if they never exsisted! Yet, the voters are responsible for this disaster! All the voters with buyers remorse are at fault....Thank you for this pile of crap!....but registering your disapproval should have been done on your ballot you idiots!!

My take on it all is that the dems are going hard left now, so that they can veer back to the center in time for the elections. There is an unfortunate political adage that essentially says that voters have short memories. Unfortunately, it appears to be true. The reason the stimulus was designed in such a way that the dollars wouldn’t start going into the economy until 2010, was that they believe they can use the dollars to buy votes. The dems are banking on the cyclical nature of the economic cycle, and their cash infusion to bring the ecomomy back to semblance of normalcy in time for the election. It cynically doesn’t do anything now, for all the people who desperately need help now, though.

It is believed that only about 100 seats in the House are contested. Figure 25 of them are GOP held. That leaves 75 Dems to be unseated. If the GOP won 40 of those seats they might have a one vote majority. That is if they held all of their contested seats.

In 1994 the GOP profited from public ennui with 40 years of Democrat control. It had a plan about what they were for that resonated with the voters, tired of the same old. It had a spokesman the GOP felt comfortable getting behind in Gingrich. 15 months out from the 2010 elections and none of these factors are in place. People may be dubious or worried about the direction things are going, but the Dems control the news most Americans get and the GOP may make inroads by yelling STOP but they need to develop a direction to take the nation. And I see little sign of doing that at this time.

IMHO it is both. People are beginning to realize that he has a line a mile long and waist deep that is nothing but BS! Continuing to blame Bush makes him look very wimpy so he’s also losing his “cool” his supporter’s liked.

Unlike the slickster Clinton, I do not believe that Obama can stomach the need to govern moderately - He is too sure that “he won”, and that means “he wins everything”.

Clinton, when faced with a more conservative congress, had the sense to understand that doing something - even if it wasn’t really his personal favorite idea - was more important than getting his way (except with interns).

Is anybody else aghast at their own nostalgia for the Clinton presidency?

Maybe some of his hardcore supporters are starting to realize that Barrack Obama ain’t “gonna pay off my car and house” and are already looking for the next sugar daddy to care for them??

it’s both....he has nothing in his playbook to respond except another “look at me, ain’t I slick?” teleprompter performance, the the public is already getting tired of them.
