House Bill 1804 Deals with Illegal Aliens in Oklahoma

[ ... ]

According to the Oklahoma Senate records Oklahoma taxpayers paid nearly 10 million last year in medical costs for illegal aliens, up 154% from 3.8 million in 2003. Most of the illegals here do not have any intent to blend into our culture nor obey our laws and have established their own “cities” within our cities creating trouble areas for the law enforcement officials. Until now police have had no authority to do anything with the illegals.

This bill gives the authorities the right to check the immigration status of anyone arrested in Oklahoma and if found to be illegal, gives the authorities the right to deportation. The news reported that after a “gang related incident” in Oklahoma City several illegals were deported to countries all over the world, not just Mexico. The police cannot and will not “hunt” for anyone, just in the normal course of business they can now take legal action.

The bill stops illegals from obtaining goverment identification, such as food stamps, low income housing, social security, medicare and filing for schooling assistance.

The bill also makes it illegal for any U.S. Citizen to house, employ or otherwise harbor or transport an illegal alien. The employers in the State are now responsible for who they employ. This is a very important part of the bill which got the attention of many people in Oklahoma!

Oklahoma passed HB 1804 which requires all illegal immigrants to be incarcerated and ship them back where they came from unless they get a green card and become an American citizen.

Damn, I wish that Texas could get similar legislation passed. If we don't do it soon, we're going to go the way of California (my home state).

It'll have to happen soon, or the political will to get it done will erode too badly, due to this very problem. We'll have too many illegals here to overcome their political pressure against our legislature.

My home state of Cali is close to hitting rock bottom. Maybe once they get there, the people will choose better representation in Sacramento, and push them to enact the same anti-illegal immigrant legislation that Oklahoma did.

That alone, would turn California's fortunes around in a hurry. It would also reverse the ongoing exodus of native born Americans out of that state.

“Actually, we formally invite Oklahoma to join Texas in our secession. The Republic of Texoma has a nice ring, no? Just think of it as a football powerhouse.”

GO SOONERS!!

So... that means illegal immigrants will be allowed to work wherever they like illegally, with no workplace checks (thanks to Obama), and when they’re tired of it they get a free ride home (again, thanks to Obama)? This doesn’t sound like such a bad deal to me.

Oops, I guess I misread... the second part is on the state of Oklahoma. I would charge them (no prison time, but a felony), then put through green card paperwork with the crime on their record.

More States need to move in the direction of Oklahoma and Texas. The only way Liberty will be preserved is for the several states to exert their real Constitutional authority. Preserving the Union at this point is a secondary matter. But, if it is to be preserved, it MUST be on the basis of the Constitution — NOT on the current tyrannical policies of Washington, DC.

Kay “Bailout”-Hutchison? Do you think she really stands a chance?

Not unless there's no better choice. Most Texas conservatives that I know, give her a thumbs down.

Throw Louisiana into the mix and we have an oil producing powerhouse with control of the mouth of the Mississippi.

This past Wednesday I was a guest commentator on the Blog Talk Radio Show Halls of Valhalla. We interviewed Rep. McMurphy about all the great bills Oklahoma is pushing through.

According to him, there is no end in site. We brought to him that what is basically taking place is that the Feds force the states to basically launder money for them, then the states use extortion to force states into doing their bidding (ie drinking age, 55mph,) states that refuse are threatened with the loss of their own citizens money.

We asked what he planned on doing when the feds started to threaten loss of tax dollars. He simply said they would go to the public, let them know what the feds were threatening. If enough people would support it, they would even consider forcing through a bill that restrict OK to be tax collectors for the feds.

....if only Ok had a nuclear plant.....

We can turn New Orleans into a penal colony vis-a-vis “Escape from New York.”

Oh no hell no. Not Louisiana. Keep it Texahoma. LA legal system is based on Napoleonic code and it’s a female dog to figure out the system. Plus it’s the home of the Longs and Landreau’s. They are cut from the same cloth as the Daily’s of Chicago.

So just how is this Texas suscession thing going to work? My husband is a Natural Born Texan, I’m not.

If Texas leaves the Union he says we’re going.

Will I have to get a green card?

As a native Houstonian that used to hitch hike to Louisiana broke just to hang out with the backwoods people, I will say that Louisiana people are as nice as they come.

I like Oklahoma —— except for the tornados.

I had friends from Maryland come to Oklahoma for college. They were a little freaked out by the thought of tornados. They asked me what to do if one was coming my only response was "....hope for the best." There isn't much warning for them.
