I made my own still images by pausing the video and using my “snipping tool to capture the freeze frame. I can make as many as I want of whatever part of the video I want. The snips are VERY clear. Better than anything I see at the 2 sites listed here.

My suspicion is that IF you register a birth from OUT OF the STATE or COUNTRY, as Hawaii state law allows, they did NOT have a procedure to show the place of birth being OUTSIDE of Hawaii. Research indicates that did not exist until the "Certificate of Foreign Birth" was created, circa 1982. The "Certificate of Hawaiian Birth" was terminiated in 1972, when Social Security records were centralized.
THEREFORE, by default, it's very likely a birthplace would show as the state capitol, HONOLULU, as shown on Obama's "Certification of Live Birth", for births that take place out of the state (or country). The other information, birth date, time, parents, would remain the same as shown on the "root" birth document.

(We’ve been able to pretty well varify the above. Others

The footprint, in and of itself, does not mean the Smith birth certificate is bogus.
On the birth certificates issued by hospitals, it’s common for there to be a footprint. Not on the government-issued birth certificates — but on the ones issued by the hospital which may be used by parents until the official certificate is completed and issued by the registrar. Both of my kids have hospital-issued birth certificates with footprints on them that we’ve kept over the years. It even has the doctor’s name, signature, birth date & time, etc.
The raised seal on the Smith birth certificate says Coast Regional General Hospital. They are the issuing authority of this document, not the
registrar’s office. As such, IMO, the Smith document is still plausible, especially considering the footprint.
