You should do your own research. That's the point.
But here's one quick example: An item in the list says, “Pg 59 HC Bill lines 21-24 Govt will have direct access to your bank accounts for electronic funds transfer.”
That's pretty chilling, isn't? The Feds tromping all over your bank account whenever they feel like it?
But, see, here's the thing. That interpretation is 100% wrong. Here are the lines from the actual bill:
‘‘(C) enable electronic funds transfers, in order to allow automated reconciliation with the related health care payment and remittance advice;”This refers to the insurer and the provider (doctor) and has to do with speeding up payment of claims. It has NOTHING to do w/ patients’ bank accounts. Go to the bill and read pgs 58, 59 and 60.
