If you want to believe it's a "K" and has been changed, go right ahead. The problem is that the "original" being shown here is at such a low resolution that it's impossible to tell if it's a "K" or an "E". They look the same at that resolution. Zooming in doesn't help to improve a low resolution original. There must have been thousands of people on that thread yesterday poring over the original on Orly's site. All saw an "E.F." and a # 4,7044.
I see no modification between the two pictures posted here. Simply a higher resolution version that has clearer text.
No. Thousands were pouring over the EF Lavender document.
B/S. The document was changed after it was originally posted. I saved a copy of the original image as posted. Someone changed it and swapped it out.
You can save that image as a JPEG on your computer, then zoom in and plainly see the “K”. I’ve got a Mac and I’m using the Preview app. I’ve zoomed in several levels, and though the photo gets blurry, the “K” is plain as day. In fact, it’s clearer at higher levels of magnification than the other letters and numbers. I’ve zoomed in six levels and it’s still readable, while everything else around it is hopelessly blurred.
The first photo at the top of this thread has “K.F. Lavender”.
If you can’t see it, that’s your problem.
FRiend, the changes are obvious in the two, get a magnifying glass and look. I thought the same as you until I looked closely with a glass.....they are not the same.
GET REAL!!!!!!!! GET GLASSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The purple writing at the top is also cropped half off in the fake.
Saquin is right!
The two images that are in the article of this thread are mine, which is 856 x 614 = 525,584 pixels and 87,414 bytes. The second, captured by someone else which is a supposed modified copy, is 1000 x 900 = 900,000 pixels and 298,380 bytes.
The second is only 71% larger in terms of pixels, but the number of bytes necessary to provide the detail in that larger picture is 341% larger, almost FIVE times the detail data. No wonder there is a difference.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I was beginning to think I was the only one who did not see a "K" or a "6"!
