Good, now he should strong arm everybody in DC to the best of his ability to reject her.
Oh, that’s right, his “no” vote is just political posturing.

He probably only decided to vote “No” after he knew she would pass anyway.

What does he have to lose? The Dems have enough votes to confirm without him.
Meaningless. I’m not impressed.

I voted for McLame, and of course I would do it again, but saying that he’s better than Obama isn’t saying much.

Naah. He’s up for reelection, and his base is going to be furious by next Fall, count on it.
To: RobinMasters
It will not do him any good but the least he can do is steer his flame out away from any populated areas before he ejects.

What this means is that the polls told him that Arizona Mexicans don't much care about New York Puerto Ricans.

Feeling the heat from his next run for Senate in his home state....they all come around when their power base is really, really threatened.

Is John finally starting to listen? It's election time for McCain. A few days ago a McCain letter was posted with him concerned about border security.
If McCain is reelected, he'll be back to resting his head in Teddy Kennedy's lap in no time.

No surprise, he’s up for reelection in 2010
To: SWAMPSNIPER
Is John finally starting to listen? Every 5.5 years McCain as his re-election rolls around, he starts throwing a few bones to conservatives in Arizona. Right after he gets another term he goes back over to the left side of the aisle and co-sponsers leftist bills.
I'm glad he voted against the 'wise latina' not that it will do any good.
