Orly Taitz responds to forgery charges
Salon ^ | Aug. 4, 2009 | Alex Koppelman

Orly Taitz, the Birther lawyer who released the document that was supposedly a copy of President Obama's Kenyan birth certificate, has now taken to her blog with an angry screed in response to the evidence that her find is in fact a poorly done forgery.

Referring to the discovery that the purportedly Kenyan document was almost certainly based on a copy of a birth certificate issued for an Australian man, David Jeffrey Bomford, Taitz writes, "Recently Obama’s thugs in main stream (sic) media came up with this Bomford report in order to stop my efforts in exposing and prosecuting Obama. Though typically I don’t have time to waste on each and every dumb obot, since it got to National TV and my children's friends called my children, I’ll spend a few minutes to debunk the obots." She continues...

Just to correct my post, the year that should be checked in Adelaide for book 44B and page 5733 should be 1959, not 1961.

Absolutely conclusive.

There is no way that a scan of a document would come up in layers, nor is there any chance that a public agency would place an uncompiled digital file on line. No room for any further doubt.

The idiots didn’t have the sense to print, and rescan their fake!

Well as it stands right now, the Kenyan documentat is still alive and capable of leading us all closer to the truth, but that Aussie document is now dead as a doornail —

A jpg doesn’t have layer data... it’s just a best guess on the part of the photoshop program.

The stuff with the letters on the creases is more convincing.

"since she filed a photo of the document, same as posted on the net..."

Only a total wack job would make such a stupid, obviously false assertion.

"Nothing from WND is to be trusted if they are so easily 'hacked' "

Illustrating your usual abysmal lack of understanding!

Every major site on the web is constantly hacked. Why do you suppose Freerepublic has so many glitches? Is there anything in the world of which you have the slightest bit of understanding? - Visibly, No!

At least WND never manipulates the facts or evidence themselves, unlike your allies in the MSM.

Sorry — but Orly has done more for this cause than anyone else. What have you and many others done other than idle blather.

How do you extract PhotoShop layering from a JPEG? I’m not a graphics expert, but I don’t think this is possible.

"So the proof that the Bomford doc has been photoshopped appears lacking."

The evidence is abundant.

"One way to verify the Bomford document is for any Australian freeper in Adelaide to pop into the registrar's office and ask very nicely if there really exists a book "44B" with a page "5733" in the birth records in the year 1961. That would not be giving out private information, and if asked nicely I'm sure a clerk could and would easily check. That would settle the question."

Obviously, and the fact that they made no effort to do exactly that to verify it, proves that they knew that it was fake because they had faked it.

"A jpg doesn’t have layer data..."

Unless it is created in layers. My Corel Photo paint can do that, or it can keep all info on one layer. Its my choice. I can store the file and open it again later, and the layers are still there.

You can put your faith in David Weigel all you like. He is a lying sack of sh*t.

No doubt Weigel is, being an MSM reporter and all. But what about David Bomford? Is he real or fake? Is he lying?

DAVID JEFFREY BOMFORD: It's little old me and my mum and everything else up there. Oh I definitely confirm that the birth certificate was mine. That was quite easy to see - my address, even the style of the birth certificate was an old South Australian one.

So it's quite easy to identify that it's mine.

Why still cling to the Kenyan BC, like a PA voter to guns and religion? It isn't helping us wrest the long form BC from Obama, rather it is only providing fringe fodder to our enemies.

"But then freeper "rudman" countered here (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2307402/posts?page=1903#1903) with information that that tool in Photoshop does NOT detect layers, it separates out pictures."

Then why was it not able to do the same for the Kenyan document that was so similar?

Why is it false? Prove otherwise.

I don’t know, but remember that the Kenyan document is a photograph taken at an angle of a piece of paper lying on a table. It may be that the tool does not as easily pick up natural borders within a document photographed at an angle from a certain distance.

" It isn't helping us wrest the long form BC from Obama, rather it is only providing fringe fodder to our enemies."

Only to the hopelessly derranged mind of the left.

There is no "long form" Hawaiian BC for Obama, because there was no birth in Hawaii for a hospital official to report; only the parent reported birth, a common occurance at that time in Hawaii, where normal individuals didn't go to hospitals.

Not if you save as jpg... maybe if you save a cpt, but then it’s not a jpg anymore.

Photo editing programs do not have the fuzzy-logic routines that can detect if something was photographed “at an angle.”

Software that can deal with such forensic tasks is quite costly.

Bomford I’m suire is a real guy. If you look at the examples of birth cert. extracts I posted from Australia, it looks like his BC is not real. Amongst other oddities we discovered last nite. Some Bomford relative was on plains radio last night too, spouting nonsense.

This has the look of a coordinated frontal assault on the constitutionalists, one way or another. And it’s our old friends Koyaan the troll (who ‘discovered’ the Bomford BC) and Weigel in the middle of this. So these bloggers discover the Bomford BC late yesterday, and a couple hours later Australia’s ABC is interviewing him. Cmon, it stinks to high heaven.

Yes, I always save as jpg.

The jpg can save a table of data.
