Obamas Kenyan birth certificate that she possesses fits the proper timeline. It was probably prepared for presentation for the divorce of Obamas parents in 1964.
_____________
That is the one thing that really disturbs me and keeps me from calling it a fake. If it is, someone really thought this through.

Well, I have not yet to seen proof that the birth certificate in Orly Taitz possession is a forgery- maybe it is authentic. There is one very easy way to prove it is a forgery...

Interesting stuff there, but would a legit Kenyan BC have been in English? Since they were under GB at some point, it is possible that wouldn't be a hurdle.
But isn't and wasn't Kenya predominately a Muslim country? Why would they refer to "Christian" names on that alleged Kenyan BC? A carryover from the British?

RIght now it’s in BHO’s political interest to keep this boiling along.
If he can show a real BC in the future he will win big on this issue. I don’t think he can, and we can do a lot of political damage to him instead, even without any BC.

Nope...the posts you mentioned are correct as was mine about the date of Commonwealth Republic status(which has nothing to do with the British Commonwealth)...it was the date of Commonwealth Republic that the libtards have incorrectly latched on as the date of the Republic founding...two different things(and it appears they sanitized the Wikipedia entry in the process).Sorry if I wasn't clear.

That is a great question and one for which I have no answer. Your question has now made me wonder... is she a good witch or a bad witch.

" English was the business language and christian names were for the educated who wanted to succeed. Some concepts of government cannot be described with languages like swahili
as with all colonialized countries in africa the turnover to self rule was a tedious process. According to my uncle who flew personell around Africa for Mobil oil in the 1960's-70's, they wanted to self govern but had absolutely no clue as how to administrate, keep records or maintain infrastructure.
According to the encyclopedia, kenya has always been diverse with about 10% muslim.
In other words,
just because the turnover was official in 1964 does not in itself debunk the BC.

IF POTUS Obama was indeed born in Kenya and the BC is authentic....a copy would be in England, would it not?
I would imagine so, if Obama was born in 1961, there's no doubt that he was born in British Colonial Kenya, regardless of the question of the date of issue of the certificate.
According to
this article: "In Kenya, birth registration became compulsory for whites in 1904. For all birth, death and marriage certificates, you will need to contact the Department of Civil Registration in Nairobi.
If your ancestors were of British origin but were born in Kenya, the civil registration documents may possibly be available in the UK. The National Archives, Kew hold records relating to records kept by British consulates abroad and at sea. From the nineteenth century they were obliged to send the records that they recorded to the General Register Office of England and Wales. The army also kept its own registers for at home and abroad."
There's an issue that Kenya ceased to be a Colonial entity on Dec 12th 1963, but didn't officially declare itself a Republic until August the 14th 1964
[see here]. So what happened in the void between is becoming an issue, the 'Dominion Era', but one could expect that following the withdrawal of Colonial rule in 1963, they ceased to issue birth certificates under direction of colonial protocol, which may explain the 'Republic' issue on the certificate in question, whilst Kenya not officially being declared a 'Republic', and was still a 'Dominion of the British Empire', just throwing ideas here.
Surely an acid test would be to raise some other birth certificates from the same period, and see how they were processed, and compare to the certificate in question.

This birth certificate made it into Conan O'Brians monologue last night. Of course the slant was that it was fake and they showed a comedically altered copy of it.
But still...it's burst into the mainstream. There's no stopping it.

a Democratic -leaning watchdog group, noted that Kenya did not become a Republic until later in 1964.1963 Kenyan Constitution declared Kenya to be a Republic.
