Now we see Ann’s strategery!

She distances herself from the “birthers”, then uses them as a club to beat up the Left and its kooknut conspiracy theories.

Pretty sharp!

There's a lot more promising paydirt in all of the real issues surrounding this Administration.

None of which you have anything more substantive to say than you do here. I challenged you to put up or shut up on your accusation and you shut up. Smart move for a man of your emptiness.

"Maybe Ann’s sudden wealth has changed her."

Or the anticipation of even greater wealth if she learns to "go along to get along."

She could become the distaff Hannity.

Has Obama ever publicly stated that he was born in Hawaii?

Yes. He wrote a letter to the hospital for their anniversary or whatever and stated that he was born there.

Show me RNC Chairman Michael Steele saying "I believe the birthers" and I'll give 10 percent of my book profits to Air America, raising their profits to -- let's see ... about 10 percent of my book profits.

Ann,
When it comes time to get out your checkbook fill in FreeRepublic.com instead. Then post a big teary opus and explain why the search for the truth was less important than laughing at us with your pal Bill Maher.

Haha. I love this woman. Some (a lot? few?) of her fellow conservatives claim she’s a RINO because of her views on birthers. And does she back down? Nope! Not our Ann!

Between this snarky pile on and her rumored support for Romney..she just lost a fan. I have every book she has ever written too.

It is very sad.

All you birthers do is distract form the serious issues and give ammunition to the MSM and Democrats to paint us a kooks and rightwing extremists. That's why you are finding yourselves more and more ostracized and ridiculed.

Funny ... the MSM and democrats have been painting us Conservatives as kooks for decades. The "right wing extremist" moniker is relatively new though. In the past they used that mostly on KKK members -- I was never sure why -- probably just to be insulting to Conservatives. It's only recently that they included us and veterans and tea-party types under that label. Good company really; I've enjoyed them all quite a lot. Somehow I don't think our position on Constitutional eligibility issues will change the MSM or democrat opinion of us. But, if you feel it will, by all means shy away from this issue and regain their respect if you can (or even desire to) do so. As you say, you have bigger fish to fry anyway. And I support you in that effort. It's important to hit all the issues that none would go unnoticed. I do wish you could understand what an incredibly bad precedent it would set to willingly open the door to this or any future Manchurian candidate. But ... that will just have to be an issue for those who understand it to face. For the good of the nation, I do wish you good fortune in the battles you do choose to enjoin.

Judging by the number of replies on the thread already, I'm not sure the ping is needed. But here it is anyway. :)

Let me know if you'd like to be added to the Ann Coulter ping list.

Inasmuch as the "birther" movement was hatched in the station wagon of MSNBC's favorite left-wing fantasist, Larry Johnson, maybe the mainstream media can stop acting as if it's a creation of the Republican National Committee.

Good ol' Larry... just a couple of months before 9/11:

The fired CIA gal- I think her leak was the secret prisons story- was Mary McCarthy. She was Larry's boss. He tried to distance himself from her until she grew popular among libs, then he sucked right in again:

APRIL 21, 2006 : (MARY MCCARTHY IS FIRED-- See DANA PREIST) In a rare occurrence, the CIA fired an officer who acknowledged giving classified information to a reporter, NBC News reported on Thursday. The agency’s spokeswoman confirmed the firing. The officer flunked a polygraph exam before being fired on Wednesday and is now under investigation by the Justice Department, NBC reported. The leak pertained to stories on the CIA’s rumored secret prisons in Eastern Europe, sources told NBC. The information was allegedly provided to Dana Priest of the Washington Post, who wrote reports about CIA prisons in November 2005 and was awarded a Pulitzer Prize on Monday for her reporting. Priest said she could not comment on the firing, which she said she learned about from NBC News. This leak is not linked to the recent scandal in the CIA involving undercover agent Valerie Plame’s identity being revealed, NBC reported. Separately, the Justice Department is investigating a New York Times stories about the National Security Agency’s domestic warrantless eavesdropping. Times reporter James Risen won a Pulitzer on Monday for his reporting on the issue. The NSA and other agencies had requested the probe, sources told NBC. ---------"NBC: CIA officer fired after admitting leak : Officer allegedly failed polygraph, admitted giving reporter information," BREAKING NEWS By Robert Windrem and Andrea Mitchell , NBC News , Updated: 3:33 p.m. ET April 21, 2006 , http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12423825#storyContinued
