Googling reveals that this park opened in 2001. So, if the dispute goes back 17 years, it must not have to do with the employees of the park.

The seizure of the property is the result of 17 years of the park’s owner, Kent Hovind, fighting the federal government over $470,000 in employee taxes owed. Hovind claimed he was employed by God and his “ministers” — I’m assuming this means “employees” — were not subject to payroll taxes.

I WONDERED what happened to Kent Hovind! I used to read his stuff. As an old-universe Christian, I disagreed with just about everything Hovind thinks about Creation (except who did it). But I wouldn't wish prison on anybody.
However, in this case, it looks like he brought it on himself. Should have listened to Jesus. "Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's..."
