Please pardon my vanity, but I have to find out if anyone else is as thoroughly creeped out by the angelic face and condescending voice of the syrupy and overly optimistic Christina Romer??
Seriously, have you seen this woman speak on anything to do with the economy?? I hate to draw conclusions, but I would love to have a taste of whatever it is she slugs before she steps up to a microphone in the early afternoons...
I am unaware if she has ever been found to be correct about anything she says, but her delivery is as disturbing as a South Florida denizen lurking around the periphery of some twisted Carl Hiaason novel.
She could play the lead role in "Misery" far better than Cathy Bates did....
Is it just me?
Should I just set my beeber to stune, or report my suspicions directly to Jim Thompson??
My household just pointed out the same thing. She gives me the CREEPS.
I just read the first couple of lines of your post and was going to say she reminded me of Kathy Bates in “Misery,” and then I read the REST of your post...
LOL
I think I had that actual comic!
I know I did.
And now she’s running the economy.
She’s a ditz.
She reminds me of “Aunt Clara” from the old Bewitched TV series.
She looks and sounds like someone who has run the local downtown beautification committee and is now in charge of the entire U.S. economy. Does this idiot not understand that this is very serious business?
Set the beeber to "terminate"; since she's a vampire, it does no good. But it's way more satisfying.
Who?
What on earth do you mean?
I am just shocked to find out that Mr. Romer is a “she”!
This afternoon, she looked like a bobble-head. Very distracting. I didn’t get a word she said.
She is the famale counterpart of Barack Obama. They are both adept at talking at length and saying nothing.
I agree with you! look into those dead eyes very creepy!
I don’t find her creepy just very annoying.
I think she hangs out with Janet Reno.
