Army National Guard Recruiting FEMA Camp Or 'Internment/Resettlement' Specialists
Canada Free Press ^ | August 5, 2009 | staff

Posted on 08/08/2009 6:38:12 AM PDT by kellynla

The Army National Guard is now recruiting individuals to fill job positions described as an internment/resettlement specialist according to job postings on Monster.Com and other employment based Internet sites such as one listed here. In other words, they are recruiting individuals to man facilities that could be used to house political dissidents, so-called terrorists and other individuals that the government doesn’t like. The term “resettlement” indicates that individuals holding this job position could also be responsible for moving people to other locations against their will. It is a documented fact that the U.S. government has numerous facilities at their disposal that could easily be used to house large numbers of people. Combine that, with this new job posting by the Army National Guard, and it seems as if the U.S. government is continuing to prepare for an eventual popular uprising.

Let’s look at some of the evidence we have of the U.S. government’s intentions to establish the infrastructure that could be used to house large numbers of political dissidents, so-called terrorists and other individuals the U.S. government wants locked up.

HR 645 the National Emergency Centers Establishment Act is a proposed bill in the U.S. House of Representatives that would authorize FEMA to build no less than six National Emergency Centers throughout the U.S. on closed or open military facilities. These facilities are to be designed to house large numbers of people. Why would emergency centers need to be built on closed or open military facilities unless there was a need to keep people from coming in and out of them?

What ever. I know a lot of people in the National Guard, and I can’t think of one person who would do this. Are you saying our National Guard is a covert round ‘em up and intern ‘em organization set up to violate the Constitution? And please do a little reading. There WERE JAPANESE SPIES and many sympathizers in this country during World War II. It is unfortunate that many innocent people were interned, but they were not all innocent. The first several thousand of those reparations checks we finally issued went to people who are residents of Japan. And I don’t remember the Japanese paying any of their torture-camp victims any reparations.

What we are seeing here is plans being made to hold people against their will, by the military, apparently without due process of law.

I am assuming the people you refer to here are American citizens who disagree with the current administration. If that is the case it has to be carried out with knowledge and consent of America's officers and senior enlisted.

First they have to get the subcommittee to schedule a hearing on the bill. Then the full committee to approve it. Then they have to get the bill passed in both Houses. Then they would have to get another bill passed to fund it. Like I said, the only suspicious part of this bill is its sponsor.

So you think our senior military leadership has stopped defending the Constitution and and now wants to put you in a reeducation camp?

Absolutely not!

Do I think the civilians in charge of the military would attempt to use these facilities to silence their opposition?

Absolutely yes.

Remember the technique of how you boil a frog.

We don’t know “who”.
That’s why we’re asking questions.

Are you suggesting that the National Guard can run an ad asking for people without there being some kind of upper level knowledge and approval?

This is not the normal status quo and something seems to be up.

It usually is preceded by a demonizing of the target. Weaver made enemies by criticizing the local sheriff in letters to the editor and ticked off a neighbor by allowing his kids to play with Nazi armbands on their arms.

Koresh was flying a Star of David flag. I can still remember the ADL lawyers whining on CNN about Koresh saying “he is stockpiling weapons and is a danger to his neighbors”. To my knowledge they never mentioned the flag, the real bone of their contention.

It is real easy to get on a “haters” list. Heck even a post on FR might do it. At my age I don’t give a sh!t. I don’t hate anybody and my friends and relatives know it, that is good enough for me! On the other hand I don’t trust everyone, even if they do have Harvard degrees.

By the way Travis my brother in law says your latest book is great! I made the mistake of loaning it to him before I read it. I have some power over him, though so I am sure he will eventually return it.

“There WERE JAPANESE SPIES and many sympathizers in this country during World War II. It is unfortunate that many innocent people were interned, but they were not all innocent.”

Forgive me, but you’re rationalizing despotism. Since you are new to FR, I will assume you’ve not had enough time to develop a rational concept of civil rights under our constitution. Please, go back and read those documents, along with the Federalist Papers. They are all about the rights that you, as a citizen of the US, are entitled to. Being tossed into internment camp because some of your own race are spies does not what the founders intended.

If you think about what you typed, I believe you’ll agree that you may have been a little fast on the keyboard. If you still believe it was justified, I might next ask if you are a US citizen yourself.

It is my understanding that this program is to deal with Katrina-like situations where a large number of people need to be evacuated and housed.

RIGHT! And it was the understanding of a whole lot of folks that they were just going to be taking SHOWERS in those big cement rooms in Dachau!

Which is why our military takes an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution not the President. These are not the guys who voted in this administration. You need to look elsewhere for black helicopters.

I have been a member of FR since 2000, longer than you have. I understand the concepts of civil rights as outlined by our Constitution, which is not a suicide pact. I have read the Federalist papers and can quote from them, extensively, in particular the section about the dangers of faction, domestic faction and insurrection (No. 10). I also have read an extensive amount of history, particularly the threats of espionage and sedition we faced before and during World War II. And finally, I can recognize condescension when it rears it ugly head.

I guess some lower level folks could run an add. I don't think they can recruit, train, pay, house, and deploy these guys without somebody noticing.

Be sure to wear that tin-foil hat when you go to the internment camp. It will keep you safe.

We need an explanation.

Why was this piece removed from "Extended News" and placed in the “Bloggers & Personal” section?

As stated on the Canada Free Press website:

“Canada Free Press (CFP) is a proudly independent, 24-7 electronic newspaper, updating several times—and sometimes several hours— a day. More than 100 writers and columnists file regularly to CFP from all corners of the globe.

Although we have been posting to the Internet for more than 12 years, on May 15, 2009 CFP celebrated its fifth anniversary as a daily.”

This NEWS is entirely too important to be shoved off into the "bloggers" corner!

Please re-read. I said this kind of story, not this exact story. In fact, the storIES I've seen before have all differed. I maintain my position: I'm keeping a wary eye on this, and an open mind.

I would in a sense call those all “hypotheticals”.

When you see an ad recruiting personell, we are no longer talking hypotheticals. Whatever it is, it’s a done deal.

I would in a sense call those all “hypotheticals”.

So, $385 million to Halliburton to construct and maintain such facilities is what? Hypothetical money?

Maybe that's what all the $Trillions in bailouts are, then --- just hypothetical money.

If you search back after 9-11 attacks, there were some discussion threads on FR of the same kinds of camps being set up within in the US.
