People who have been out of work for months are lining up for jobs at places they once considered unthinkable: slaughterhouses, sewage plants, prisons.

I keep running into people who were obviously executives in a previous life, now working at humble positions. What’s fascinating is the energy and efficiency they bring to positions that are usually held by the indolent and unambitious. Things work SO WELL with such people in the office/stockroom/assembly line/back office. It explains so clearly why, in a normal economy, some people rise to the top like cream.

I should amend my comment - Obama, unions, and globalists sold our nation's infrastructure and manufacturing capability for a mess of pottage.

We will soon be a nation of two castes: those who work for the government and unions and have double-dip pensions, and the rest of us, who work what honest jobs are left and have thick-necked, shaved-headed goons watching us to make sure we don't get out of line and wonder aloud why we should pay for their wages and benefits.

Those use electricity provided by fossil fuels that create Carbon Dioxide that will incinerate the planet. Pencils will replace computers in a year or so if Obamanomics is passed. It will be a great business opportunity and sales will be “better than expected”.
