I don't know if this is fishy or not, but I heard that an Obama stamp had been created. Problem was that it wouldn't stick to the envelop. Investigation showed that people were spitting on the wrong side of the stamp.

As one of the frequent posters of these images over the past few days, let me say that JeffHead.com and The People’s Cube have been on the very tip of the spear for subversive and absolutely spot-on political satire for a long time now.

Anyone at FR who knows me, knows that I believe that a good cartoon trumps a vanity post any day, and I have used some of the best satire ever come out of Jeff, TPC, I Own the World, and a few other places. The best satire always has a ring of truth to it and the material that these folks have been producing cuts right to the bone on some of the most important political issues we have ever faced in this Nation.

And on another item worth mentioning...what is particularly noteworthy about these images is that the most successful satire does not need an obnoxious banner smeared across it to ensure that everyone knows exactly where it came from. The People’s Cube has mastered the subtlety of this notion, while sites like “Mrs. Satan’s Blogspot” have no friggin’ clue...

My personal “Thank You” goes out to JeffHead, Red Square, BigFurHat, and a whole lot of other people for some incredibly funny, hard hitting and timely satire.
