Barack Obama is proving himself to be a destructive nihilist with capitalism, the Constitution, the Rule of Law, and the traditional American experience in his crosshairs.
In today's American culture there are other sorts of nihilism. Pop culture nihilists much more common, comprising a virtual demographic segment of self-satisfied know-nothings. Destructive nihilists are rarer, but more fearsome. They believe western civilization is so corrupt that wholesale destruction is the only solution.
Nihilism, while easily abused by the casual thinker, is actually both political, and in a thunderingly empty way, deeply spiritual. Russian author Ivan Turgenev's character Bazarov explains in Fathers and Sons that a "nihilist is a person who does not bow down to any authority and who does not accept any principle on faith" because "conditions in the social organization are so bad as to make destruction desirable for its own sake, independent of any constructive program or possibility." As Sergei Nechaev and Mikhail Bakunin wrote in Catechism of a Revolutionist (1869):
"He [the Revolutionist] is its [the civilized world] merciless enemy and continues to inhabit it with only one purpose - to destroy it."
This is the one principle guiding Obama in every decision -- America must be destroyed so that it can be rebuilt as an anti-America.
Under Obama's leadership our once pedestrian government and economy has descended into self-inflicted crisis. The man who promised to bring us all together has either failed miserably or is a master of deceit. Even those who voted for Obama are angry with him for bailing out the rich businessmen of Wall Street leaving the disillusioned supporter hoping to find a job.

But one day Bubba appeared in the uniform of a US Marine, and days later disappeared for Vietnam.
Several weeks later the news arrived that Bubba has lost his life in Vietnam. Almost 50 years later I can still remember the dark sadness that descended like a heavy cloak over our small community on the news of Bubba's death.
It's horrible to realize that Bubba lost his life, sent by his government to "fight Communism", when that same government is now itself embracing Communism.
A Nihilist Narcissist?
If it looks like a duck.....
Word association! Say “consistently excellent” and I respond immediately, “American Thinker.”
Thanks for sharing your memories of a brave young man. We must all fight to hold dear his sacrifice and preserve this great country and our Constitution.

“Barack Obama is proving himself to be a destructive nihilist with capitalism, the Constitution, the Rule of Law, and the traditional American experience in his crosshairs.”
This is real agenda. Obama will as doggedly hold onto to the White House as he promotes his facist takeover of every facet of our lives. Democracy is quickly becoming a historic footnote.

Obama Says A Baby Is A Punishment
Obama: If they make a mistake, I dont want them punished with a baby.
Some people just want to watch the world burn. He is The Joker.
With each passing day, I am more convinced his destructive polices have nothing to do with his apparent incompetence. See the book he is reading here..."The Post-American World".
Does this mean Taco Bell is going to win the Franchise Wars.
The Second Amendment will prevent permanent change (communism or its softer cousin, socialism)from happening as long as we maintain a backbone to utilize it and stop the change from happening, in the worst case. Bubba’s lost life wasn’t in vain, there’s enough of us who understand what America is really about; less government, less taxation, individual freedom both personal, religious and business. We’re only starting to be awakened from our drugged state.
One of my all-time favorites. This is watchable when there is absolutely nothing else in my library that seems to fit my mood. I, like Stallone’s charachter, would like to know what those three shells are for...
