I haven't been in Austin for about 14 years, but the Chronicle used to post these types of ads for paid activists quite frequently, and they were often for the purpose of disrupting Republican gatherings.

One thing, though, the Pubbies have to start shouting about this, as do the conservative bloggers. Don't expect Chris Matthews to report the truth.
