So much for Barack Obama's promise of a post-racial America. NBC News apparently believes that African-Americans can be pigeonholed. In NBC's view, there exists "the" African-American perspective on news. So announced the NBC promo, aired during today's Meet The Press, for a new website, theGrio.com.

You might want to pass on this on to the radio station — they would have a field day with this.
If I was black, I would be furious at NBC for pulling this. I think it is condenscending to blacks. I am beginning to think that no matter the race, conservatives think differently. We view people as people and liberals want to put them in little pigeonholes per group to bring out when they need them for something.

On the bright side, try imagine what an all black news site would look like. A bunch of racists all talking ebonic jibberish at once while bobbing their heads side to side- following the finger they are shaking, while standing with the other hand on their hip in the typical hoodrat pose. Nobody will watch that for long, except for a laugh.
I guess they just haven't had time to post that information yet.

That is true! I have a hunch Conservative Blacks are going to start ripping NBC. During the campaign the person that was the most anti-Obama was a black conservative I met from Tulsa. He made the rest of us look weak but he said he had seen ZERO’s type before and they were no good!
Every city of any size in the south has a black newspaper. This is the national version for Television.
