Racial bias in the Dept of Justice (Rep. Frank Wolf wants to Refile Against Black Panthers)

During last year’s Presidential election everyone remembers the video of two members from the New Black Panther Party poised with night sticks intimidating voters at a voting station in Philadelphia. President Bush immediately instructed the Department of Justice to investigate the situation and proceed with prosecution if called for.

We had pretty much forgotten about this incident until recently. Three people were prosecuted, Malik Zulu Shabazz, Minister King Samir Shabazz, and additional member Jerry Jackson. All three were found guilty of intimidation of voters and making racial threats and insults. Now the rational thinker would think that this would be the end of the story.

Unfortunately this isn’t Bush’s Department of Justice anymore, because before the sentence could be handed down, Eric Holder’s office had rescinded the guilty plea and demanded the release of the three thugs back to society. Until recently this incident went unexplained, but the DoJ has finally given the lame excuse that the men were released because one of them actually lived in that complex, which later proved to be a lie because the complex was actually an elder care facility, and Mr. Jackson had never lived there.

This still doesn’t explain the release of the other two men, but obviously they weren’t important enough to comment on. Because all charges have been dropped and their records expunged Mr. Jackson had his rights as a democratic poll watcher restored in May, so he will be able to shout more racial remarks, and insults at the next Presidential election.

A Republican congressman has been so incensed by this incident, that he has obtained an opinion from the Congressional Research Service to see if the charges could be refiled without violating the double jeopardy clause. Rep.

Frank Wolf (R-VA), confirmed his feelings when their opinion said the charges could be refiled. Also the independent US Commission on Civil Rights has called on the DoJ to explain their actions, but so far Eric Holder has been mysteriously quiet.

It seems funny to me that the very person appointed to uphold the laws, fight injustice, and to uphold the Constitution, has been the very person to violate all those things we hold dear. I can’t help but to wonder if Holder is thinking about removing all charges against convicted former congressman William Jefferson, the Louisiana Democrat who was found guilty on charges of bribery, when $90,000 was found in his freezer, before he is to be sentenced.

It is not funny.

For years I have maintained that today’s democrats are the most corrupt party in US history.

Little did I know that they were going to get worse.

(Rep. Frank Wolf wants to Refile Against Black Panthers)....

Wants to?

That doesn’t mean much unless his does Re-File against Ozero’s civilian defense forces.

Otherwise, it’s all talk.

“Little did I know that they were going to get worse.”

The left ALWAYS gets worse...120 Million dead in a hundred years...no, this is NOT funny...when the AG overturns thugs convictions and signals the OK to go to the polling booths with nightsticks, it’s really not funny at all...this might be a defining moment for all of us...this can not stand...it is declaring a level of lawlessness that has not been seen for many years and that will lead us into a civil war...

Justice Department political appointees overruled career lawyers and ended a civil complaint accusing three members of the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense of wielding a nightstick and intimidating voters at a Philadelphia polling place last Election Day, according to documents and interviews. The incident – which gained national attention when it was captured on videotape and distributed on YouTube – had prompted the government to sue the men, saying they violated the 1965 Voting Rights Act by scaring would-be voters with the weapon, racial slurs and military-style uniforms. Career lawyers pursued the case for months, including obtaining an affidavit from a prominent 1960s civil rights activist who witnessed the confrontation and described it as “the most blatant form of voter intimidation” that he had seen, even during the voting rights crisis in Mississippi a half-century ago. The lawyers also had ascertained that one of the three men had gained access to the polling place by securing a credential as a Democratic poll watcher, according to interviews and documents reviewed by The Washington Times. The career Justice lawyers were on the verge of securing sanctions against the men earlier this month when their superiors ordered them to reverse course, according to interviews and documents. The court had already entered a default judgment against the men on April 20. A Justice Department spokesman on Thursday confirmed that the agency had dropped the case, dismissing two of the men from the lawsuit with no penalty and winning an order against the third man that simply prohibits him from bringing a weapon to a polling place in future elections.

It appears that the Democrats are not overly concerned about our rights. Both the right of free speech, and the right to vote.

It isn’t the racial bias that bothers me it’s the political corruption. It is more than obvious now that 0bama approves of and uses intimidation to achieve his political goals.

I’ll tell you what, Pop, this overturning of the law is one of the most significant things that has happened in many years...and it went unnoticed for the most part...I can’t see how we will avoid serious trouble...and I can’t see how this next three years will not become routinely violent...

In my opinion, they are one in the same for BO...his Cone inspired marxism will lead us to a very violent regime if left unchecked...he did not sit in a Black Repearationist church and surround himself with nothing but marxist/liberation teologists all of those years for nothing...his mother raised a classic “red diaper” baby, added a dash of racism and he has found his own special hybrid to be with...they didn’t find him, he found them...Cone, Alinsky and Davis should be proud...

It is one and the same thing. That is why I don’t get hung up on the racial aspect of it. Race hustling has become the same thing as enviro-wackoism. A tool of the Marxists. Same with feminism. All causes that at one time had some noble reality to them but are no longer valid causes and have been usurped by the movement of international communists.

That artwork is not too much of a stretch. I’m worried about where all this is headed.

I do like the new name for his logo....see tagline.
