Another disgrace: In Nigeria, Hillary hints that 2000 U.S. election was rigged

As Allahpundit would say, she’s a special lady:

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton compared Nigeria’s corruption and electoral problems with the 2000 Florida presidential election recount during a town hall meeting today in Abuja, Nigeria.

Answering a question about Nigeria’s recent election, Clinton said, “In 2000, our presidential election came down to one state where the brother of the man running for President was the governor of the state. So we have our problems too.”

That is a tasty combo of the Obama administration’s “America sucks” foreign policy, coated in some rich, gooey Bush Deragement Syndrome. Sure, the “media recounts” of the 2000 election showed that the recounts requested by Al Gore or ordered by the Florida Supreme Court would have still resulted in a victory for George W. Bush. Why would that stop our country’s chief diplomat from suggesting that her predecessors in government were there illegitimately? Certainly not Pres. Obama’s faux insistence that we let go of the politics of the past.

The sad thing is that this story will be heard by few Americans, and will register with even fewer. The silver lining? If the US Secretary of State can bestride the globe this drenched in BDS — almost nine years after the fact — without notice, what are the odds that a few anti-ObamaCare protesters are going to scare anyone today? (hint: Long odds.)

Update (AP): Here’s the clip. Between this and her “I’m the secretary of state” freakout the other day, she’s having a hell of a trip.

Hitlery is finding that the only way to get as much coverage as Condi did is to be a witch.

Condi had class, Hitlery is what Barbara Bush once said she was.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

As the eternal lurker, I must say “Give me a F___ing Break!”

Outside United States Borders?

In an F - N Banana Republic?

As the GD’d SECRETARY OF STATE?

And the Smartest woman on the continent (previous award)?

She has the Balls to question the electoral system of the United States?

(And I am getting lip for “FREE THE LONG FORM!”?)

I guess I can agree, WE DO HAVE OUR PROBLEMS, TOO!

(what an ignorant C-word.)

This is disgraceful. Hillary Clinton should be forced to resign. She has shown herself to be unqualified.

Clinton said, “In 2000, our presidential election came down to one state where the brother of the man running for President was the governor of the state. So we have our problems too.”

Because of that statement Ms Clinton should be removed from office. She should also be tried for treason!

Like it or not, the 2000 election procedure was followed according to our laws. If this dolt named Clinton can't handle that, she needs to relocate to a country that she finds better than the US!!!!!!

Well, that was all I needed to hear to know the 2008 election was rigged and she’s whizzed that she and sinkEmperor were out clintoned. You just know the Rodham rodent was relishing her chance to bury McCain after her supporters worked so hard to get him nominated.

Hillary is right. We do have our problems with elections, but those problems have little, if anything, to do with whom is Governor of which state and more to do with the lack of standards in counting the votes in a recount. One precinct counts hanging chads another interprets voter intentions and still another finds missing votes.

It’s all about which party can make the best arguments in court to convince the judge which votes should be counted and which should be discarded.

Another significant problem is the national media calling precincts for one candidate over another and in so doing affecting the votes in other states and time zones. That needs to come to an end. It would be better to let all the precincts report in with no updates whatsoever. We should all find out who won after the last precinct in Hawaii reports 100% of its votes.

And don’t even get me started on ACORN-sponsored voter fraud or caucus fraud or open primaries or corrupt political parties etc.

But in order to take down an incumbent of ones own party in the Presidential primaries their party would almost have to have been completely destroyed by the Prez. The cry of “here I come to save the day” won't matter much if there's nothing left to save.
