(WHERE WAS THE MEDIA WITH ALL THE BUSH DEATH THREATS!!!!???? This is ridiculous---if ANYTHING ever happened to Obama --the media will blame the right, it is a foregone conclusion--and all this because we dare stand up to this incompetent, dishonest man that is trying to reshape our country against will!)

Fear for Obama's Safety Grows as Hate Groups Thrive on Racial Backlash Violent Signs, Gun, Standoff Latest in Emerging Anger Towards the President

By BRIAN ROSS, ANNA SCHECTER and MEGAN CHUCHMACH August 14, 2009

Experts who track hate groups across the U.S. are growing increasingly concerned over violent rhetoric targeted at President Obama, especially as the debate over health care intensifies and a pattern of threats emerges.

"I don't think these are simply people who are mentally ill or off their rocker," Mark Potok, director of the Intelligence Project at the Southern Poverty Law Center, told ABC News of those behind the threats. "In a very real sense they represent a genuine reaction, a genuine backlash against Obama."

The Plot to Kill Barack ObamaMore from Brian Ross and the Investigative Team

Experts say a sharp growth in so-called militia groups that helped spawn a wave of domestic terrorism in the 1990s – and are now using YouTube, rock music and the Internet to recruit members and spread hate and fear - shouldn't be ignored.

"It's certainly a scary time," said former FBI agent Brad Garrett, now an ABC News consultant. Garrett said the Secret Service "cannot afford to pass on anyone," and he believes "they really do fear that something could happen to [Obama]."

Garrett said statements like one recently made by Rush Limbaugh comparing logo for the White House plan to a Nazi symbol "legitimizes people who are on the edge to go do something or say something."

“But come to think about it, if he is not a citizen, can he be tried for treason?”

Yes

He took an oath to defend the constitution and may be a citizen despite not being a natural born citizen.

Understand that when a leftist accuses you of racism
when you criticize aspects of his ideology,

he’s admitting that he can’t defend that ideology.

They are attempting to legitimize their desire to use the
State to punish dissent.

ABC just can't make this case. The backlash is not racially based and them saying it is doesn't make it so. The SRM knows that this isn't about race and it isn't about hate groups, but they're still pushing zero's talking points.

Independent analysts have investigated the "angry mobs" and determined that they are not organized, not motivated out of hate or racism but, instead, are individual citizens upset about a political bill that shreds the remnants of the Constitution.

ABC is just acting as another Press Secretary for zero.

“So, are muslim terrorist groups targeting obama as an apostate muslim going to be called hate groups?”

No, muslim terrorist groups are Obama’s allies. He has nothing to fear from them, he is with them...

“We are so in trouble folks”

God is Sovereign. He told us how the story ends.

The way I see it, we can hang out on the rack while the left ratchets the spring tighter just to see how much we’ll take, or let them go too fast and cause a reaction.

That reaction has to be reasoned, it has to be planned well, and it has to have a plan for after the dust clears.
It also has to be absolutely devastating to their power base -

something along the lines of totally neutering the federal government when it comes to the internal affairs of the United STATES and the citizens of those states.

We knew he’d screw us over and aren’t surprised/disappointed.
They didn’t and they *are*.

Pissed off left wing loons is who they should be watching.

They’re the ones who burn cities and loot stores when they feel “disenfranchised”.

Dead on target!! As more and more of his former "supporters" emerge from their hypnotic state, they become angrier and angrier at what they perceive as his betrayal of them (as opposed to the fact that they didn't listen to us OR do their own research on him BEFORE 11/4/08). It is illuminating, to say the least, that the Yerapeein' media quickly figured out how big of a phony he is when he went back there as president but, as candidate Obama, they thought he walked on water, just like our own SRM did. Interesting times and some very bumpy roads ahead.

(BTW, is there any relationship between your screen name and the first sentence of your post?? Just curious. :-) )

I’m betting on history. The Praetorian Guard and Senators did in Caligula and Julius Caesar.

I'm betting on a different history -- The Burning of the Reichstag in 1933.

The smell of a major set up is in the air! Our own National Socialist president is flailing politically, and he desperately needs a crisis to change the focus and to quell dissent. All of a sudden we are hearing a steady drumbeat of warnings about a new threat of "right wing" and/or "racist" domestic terror groups. Why?

This is the perfect time for agents provocateur to do (or even just attempt) something horrible -- and blame it on us! In the aftermath, touching photos of firefighters cradling young victims will turn public opinion against "right wing hate speech" and a wave of manufactured revulsion will lend tacit approval to "emergency measures" to crack down on remaining political dissent. Then, we will be outlaws.

This is Mob Politics, folks. You heard it here...

God I hope no one so much as slaps obama.

I don't think I could take every freaking school, road, and park not named for MLK being renamed for him.

PLEASE lets just defeat him and his liberal thugs in congress at the ballot box.

Saw headline at Drudge; re National Guard - practicing maneuvers at High School - prepping for riots over H1N1; and suspect it is not because they imagine there will be riots if not enough vaccine; nor do I think that is the only thing they are preparing for!. We are so in trouble folks. .

I'm not so sure. If we go back to the Kent State "massacre" at the height of the 60s counterculture war against America, the NG suffered a huge backlash for the fact that they fired on unarmed college students, killing four and wounding nine.

With today's military and their more "sensitivity based" training, I don't believe that the military (including the NG) will want a repeat of the Kent State event. In addition, the military today is in a worse position with Obama than they were with Clinton and there is no love lost between the military amd Obama. Notice he doesn't do any of his major speeches at military bases??

FWIW, IMO, if push comes to shove between civilians and the military, if we (the civilians) make it known that we intend no harm to the military, I'm not convinced they would try to stop us from peacefully and legally exercising our Constitutional rights. I could be wrong, but I just don't think so. Historically, one of the worst decisions any political leader can make is to deploy the military against his/her own people and the military actually carrying out his/her orders. That's a recipe for disaster!

Actually I see these “Militia” stories as ramp up. Something they know about already or strongly suspect is going to happen and immediately it will be pinned on the militias, courtesy of the mainstream media.

In this modern age the President is so well protected that no whack job wing nut is going to possibly be able to physically harm the President of the U.S.A. This is because the Secret Service is doing such an excellant job. Therefore, if any harm comes to the President, I will assume the Secret Service had a hand in it.

Actually, I don’t remember which came first, but in any case, klintoon pulled the Waco raid, then turned around and blamed renosaurus. And the press swooned.
