Rifqa Bary's upcoming hearing in FL on August 21
Is anyone considering a demonstration on this poor girl's behalf? Would I have any takers to come be seen and heard with me?
I'm in Jacksonville, and I feel so strongly about this case. Should I call my local news station or anything? Help me, Freepers!
I just really want as much publicity concerning this as possible...we can’t let this poor girl down. If the dhimmis have their way, she will be sent back to her father, he’ll wait until the media blitz is over, and then this dear sweet freedom-loving young lady will disappear. Forever.
Does anyone have any ideas for me? What can I do?
need more info!
Rifqa Bary is a teenage girl who converted from Islam to Christianity and fled to Florida to escape her parents who she fears will kill her.
getting the court to emancipate her at age 17 ought to be fairly easy.....esp if plenty of local noise is made about it prior to the hearing.....whether she is emancipated now or is allowed to remain in Fla while the clock to age 18 runs down seems immaterial, since she seems safe where she is.....just my thoughts.
That is exactly what I think I need to get busy with...local noise. Good call, Vn.
I just worry because FL DCF isn’t known for its effectiveness and efficacy of protecting the children, knowwhatImean? So the State appoints her an attorney?
Pamela Gella at atlasshrugs.com is all over this issue. She has been exposing the “religion of peace” for what it really is and especially honor killings and especially of young girls. If you haven’t, check it out. This young girl is DEAD if she goes back with her folks. We can’t let this happen.
So the State appoints her an attorney?
I’m not sure, but surely some sort of Legal Aid type Lawyer could represent her directly (not those who are providing her with refuge), pleading for the Court to appoint a guardian for the interim of the emancipation matter.....I just hope this bunch she is now with is on the up and up and not some fringe cult/whatever, because if they are, it will play right into the hands of her parents lawyer(s). This MUST be about and for HER.....not them!

Mohamed Bary "comes across to me as a loving, caring, worried father about the whereabouts and the health of his daughter," said Sgt. Jerry Cupp, chief of the Columbus police missing persons bureau. ...
The family says Rifqa was baptized a Christian without their knowledge this year in Columbus. Around the same time, the girl met Lorenz through an online Facebook prayer group.
Rifqa's 18-year-old brother, Rilvan, said the family has its own worries about her well-being.
"We don't think the safest person is the pastor she met two weeks ago on Facebook," Rilvan Bary said.
Runaway Christian convert claims life is in danger
not surprising.....this is why I think she must get her OWN representation and be emancipated....I don’t know or care what the whole truth or the dirty truth might be re her family or these other people......she clearly fears her family and for her life, and the phrase “any port in a storm” comes to mind wrt her current benefactors......
Sri Lanka’s not
a third world hell-hole;
it was when I spent a week there, and I never went very far from Columbo/Lavinia Beach......nonetheless, islam is islam, wherever it festers....in this case it is Ohio and Florida
Prayers for the safety & well-being of this girl - and that she would remain strong in Christ.
