I am fed up with the federal government and the liberal media trying to enforce their anti second-amendment agenda. In 2000, the socialist Michael Moore made his slanderous documentary which blamed all of us responsible gun owners and NRA members for the tragedy at Columbine. In 2004 the Democrats failed to put a very strong anti second amendment senator in the White House. In 2008, the republicans put up an anti second amendment presidential nominee and the Democrats put up the most extreme nominee and vice president since McGovern. The only hope us gun owners have is to support Palin in 2012. I want every gun owner to post that agrees with me to bump this thread and to tell us how the government is hurting us hunters.
Gonna be one hell of a scene if they try . Most people I know are serious about their weapons and will not give them up without an all out fight. If it comes to that , bring it on.

I don’t think that you understand the importance of the second amendment and the Obama admiration’s attack on it. If Obama wins in 2012, and god hope he doesn’t, then he will have no reason to act like a moderate and if Obama declares martial law then he and Biden will take away our guns as in Nazi Germany, Red China, The USSR and every other dictatorial state. At some point the Obama adminstration will declare “extreme circumstances” and use it as a pretext to take away our guns. I don’t think sir you understand how serious this is.

So far, the Obama et al have done little to attack the 2ndA. Not that they don’t want to, and not that they won’t, but so far little or no harm done. What little has been attempted got so much opposition from Pelosi et al that the issue was dropped.
As for taking away our guns, they won’t. I don’t care how extreme the circumstances, they won’t and they can’t. There’s an awful lot more of “us” than “them”, and their minions are doing it for a paycheck, not personal survival. Google “shoot twice and go home” for the idea - and realize there wouldn’t be enough to go around.
Yes, I understand how serious it is. We don’t relax, we don’t back down, we vote ‘em out ASAP, we don’t give in to false “extreme circumstances” demands, we stockpile, we don’t let any new oppressive legislation stand.
All that said, I reiterate my point: having observed the issue and discussion thereof for over 15 years, I note that there are some people who hysterically cry “they’re going to take our guns!” with no rational analysis, and more out of a desire that such a horror occur to fulfill their own twisted fantasies of victimhood. Doesn’t mean I think there isn’t a problem.
