I’d like to see both Pres and Veep who have been governors. Enough legislators who cannot administrate their way out of a paper bag.
You can say that again. The last senator who successfully ran for president was JFK. Of course, LBJ, another senator was his veep. I’ll let you decide how well they did.
That’s what made this election so bizarro, except for Rudy and Romney, who both dropped out early, it came down to Blowhard Juan McCain vs. sens Dodd/Edwards/Hillary/Obama.
