I'm guessing you are referring to the NFL player who committed vehicular manslaughter - an event that that player didn't not purposefully plan. That's contrasted to the completely purposeful and planned activities of one Michael Vick. IMHO the fact Vick perpetrated his crimes intentionally holds a lot of weight.

A team would be much better off using him in the backfield. Though, I’d prefer to not see him in a uniform for any team.

No one, started a charity to support these kids.

And you did what? Nothing, is what you did. Since you did nothing shouldn't you STFU about what others didn't do?

People can be outraged by more than one scumbag's behavior at a time too.

No way to get around it, Vick is a POS.

You don’t know what ‘I’ did.

Have a nice day, animal lover.

I know what you didn’t do, a damn thing for the kids you referenced.

I don’t think animals should be abused by lowlifes like Vick; you have a problem with that?

Your post doesn’t even makes sense unless you want Vick to be in charge of retired people or to be a dog catcher.

However, both occupations are far beyond his level of intelligence and competence.

Yes, I helped that family.

But, once again, your outrage is at Vick for killing property.

Save that for actual abuses on people. Kids, and children.

‘I don’t think animals should be abused by lowlifes like Vick; you have a problem with that?’

I think Vick or any property owner should be able to treat their property as would like.

We won’t see eye to eye. People like yourself have raised the idea of what a pet is to that of a family member or akin to that. I’m sorry you have done that.

It doesn't matter if he served his time; if he's made himself an anathema to a business that needs to sell entertainment, then he deserves nothing. That being said, looks like he might be able to come out of this without being too damaging to the Eagles. That's all that matters though, not 'serving his time.'

And PETA is a collection of a$$-clowns; agreed.

I think you nailed it - the Humane Society shows they can be rationale; PETA continues to prove they are 100% into being PETA.

Mike Vick may be only feigning repentence and a scoundrel at heart--only God knows.

But the woman who wrote this article is looney-tunes.

I lived with ex for the sake of the pets

One wonders if she's pro-abortion as well. If she is, it puts the umbrage she feels at Vick for animal cruelty in a whole different light.

I think Vick or any property owner should be able to treat their property as would like.

You repeatedly had your ass handed to you on that last thread concerning the legal definitions of property and apparently learned nothing.

Once it has been determined that a person is incapable of learning no further discussion other than to point out their foolishness occasionally is prudent.

“This is not about loving dogs more than humans and certainly we should put Chris Dodd in jail how’s that for a dumb argument?”

I was the one who mentioned putting Dodd and Frank in prison and I stand behind that statement, which is not “dumb” as you state.

My thought about prosecuting lawbreakers is that they ALL should be prosecuted. But does ganging up on Vick take the pressure off of others who need to be publicly prosecuted?
I'm talking about crimes against America. Shouldn't those involved in crimes against America have precedence over someone who abused animals?

I don't condone animal abuse. I love animals. But the soul of mankind is judged by how man treats his fellow man first and foremost. We have criminals running around who did things that have harmed Americans who have seemingly been let off the hook of public outcry calling for prosecution.
Focus on an animal abusive NFL player has taken the heat off of Dodd and Frank at a time when they should have faced prosecution. If public opinion for crimes against Americans and corruption have less weight than prosectuting animal abuse, we have lost total focus on what is really important in the grand scheme of America.
