This is the first time this indicator has gone negative.
Only -0.4%? and first time?
remember that??
Well, after all they pride themselves on their “independence” i.e., not beholden to one party or philosophy. They “choose on the individual issues” remember?
So therefore it follows that such “thinkers” would (initially) support that intellectual heavyweight, Barack Obama.
What does that even mean?
I was kinda hoping it meant that .4% of Independents who don't even exist can't stand him . . . ;-)

Okay, thanks. I was trying to figure out who these fractional negative people were.
I’ve always thought of “independents” as people who are afraid to stand up and show the courage of their convictions.
To me, there is no such thing as an independent. Everybody has an opinion. When an independent goes to the election booth and pulls a lever or punches a hole through a paper ballot, he or she has made a decision which is not “independent”. That voter has made a choice for one or the other candidate or for one agenda or the other.
oh come on. many are conservatives who believe Republicans aren’t standing by their convictions
“If you click through to the site, Independents’ disapproval is at 45.6%, approval at 45.2%.”
And if you select Democrats, you’ll discover his approval ratings continue to be at stratospheric levels, suggesting rather limited intelligence among this group.
So what
We have him for at least 3 1/2 years at a time when we have a financial crisis and international peril
No way we can survive these fools
Look at the graph
What does that even mean?
It means two out of three of the voter segments now view Zero in negative terms.
FR is an independent site, it isn’t a republican site.
So in other words, a statistically accurate survey of FReepers would show Obama at negative 0.4% ?
You just keep showing your ignorance about independent registration and freerepublic.
FR is not a republican site, it is a conservative site that is full of conservatives including including many that are too repelled by the liberalism of the GOP to register to that party and choose to register as independent.
Does this sound like a good little GOP site to you?
“If there is anyone here who doesn’t understand why we cannot support a slick socialist politician like Mitt Romney, God help you, but you’re on the wrong website. We went through this with the abortionist, gay rights activist, illegal alien supporting, gun grabbing Rudy Giuliani until someone created another website call WAnkers for Rudy and they all flew the coop. Hopefully, before too much FReeper blood is shed, someone will create a WAnkers for Romney site and we can be left to fight the good fight as we see fit!
FR is not for everyone! “

LOL .. . Good Lord, man . . . re-read my post and maybe, just maybe you might finally figure out what I was saying. It’s really not that difficult.
Hint: It had nothing to do with FR.
I did read it and you have lots of independents at FR.
If your party doesn’t move right you will lose many of those independents.
