President Barack Obama guaranteed Thursday that his health care overhaul will win approval and said any bill he signs will have to reduce rapidly rising costs, protect consumers from insurance abuses and provide affordable choices to the uninsured — while not adding to the federal deficit.

Now that's going to be a real trick to pull off.

Lie about it, promise it and get it passed, then say oop's after the fact, blame Bush, and you have your bill.

Standard dimocrat political procedure.

It simply isn't possible for him to believe that the bill in the House committees is the same as the one he promises.

He's had plenty of time to read the thing ~ although there's a pile of evidence out there now that he has a "reading comprehension" problem..
