The trance is wearing off.
Obama is killing himself this week. At first, he says he will not have a plan that doesn’t have a public option, then earlier this week his surrogates are saying he will ‘compromise’ by having Co-Ops... The next day he says no. He was wanting bi-partisan support and then Democrats were going to ‘go it alone’ and now he’s wanting ‘bi-partisanship’ again. He says different things to different groups of people and each group is catching on to his duplicity.
He not only isn’t selling the plan, at the same time he’s selling himself as a complete flip-flopping idiotic buffoon on the entire issue.
It also didn’t help that he demonized 1/2 the country and when that didn’t work, he wants to compel insurance companies to give up private business information so he can villainize them, since attacking town-hallers didn’t work. He’s also managed to alienate some of his base with his flip-flopping. These animals want nothing but complete totalitarian communism and any suggestion of anything that falls short of that is unacceptable to them. Still others that voted for him think he’s in bed with Insurance and Drug companies because of secret ‘back-room’ deals.
The Titanic was ‘unsinkable’ too. There were some that predicted his fall would be as spectacular as his rise. Man, those guys were right.
All excellent points. Also I believe flag@whitehouse.gov really frosted a lot of people. That bit was right out of 1984. Very creepy.
The very worst part was when he gave the talk to the rabbi's and said, "we are God's partner in matters of life and death."

Consdiering the wake up call a lot of Americans are FINALLY facing, I think there are going to be a lot more Republicans after this. Democrats are simply inept at building things because they don’t understand ‘process’ and when things are bad, the citizenry prefer Republicans because they knwo how to handle problems. ‘
People with the temperment of Democrats for whatever reason take a fatalist view and rely on people who build things to keep going. Take away the builders and they freak out and drown.
