Actually there are several meanings for the term 'gaffer' ----- old fart-----electrician on a movie set ------ and yes, one who makes 'gaffs' as in old 'Bumblin Joe Biden'
And it’s a golf term, too, right?
So, to cover all meanings, I guess you’d have to be an retired electrician in Hollywood who golfs with a foot in his mouth...
