The heinous comments by the Farrakhans and Reverend Wrights are evidence of the incredible disdain and hatred some in the African-American community bear toward Jews who battled and died for black rights.

A perfect illustration of the old saying “no good deed goes unpunished”.

No matter what internal issues Israel faces it's enemies are even more of a mess. While human history is often like a footrace between the blind and crippled the finish line is crossed eventually by someone. There is no real peace with the Palestinians possible, but there is the possibility of surviving them. If someone wants to kill you don't pick them up from the floor and hand them a knife.

Yet today, despite the fact Jewish people marched beside Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., funded the NAACP and were among its organizers, anti-Semitism among blacks and its leadership runs rampant throughout our nation.

Join the club. The Republican Party, founded in 1854 by anti-slavery activists, is totally shunned by blacks, who instead vote in block for the party of Jim Crow.
