CHILMARK, Mass. – President Barack Obama and his family began a weeklong vacation on this Massachusetts island with a message to the reporters who have crowded the New England villages: Chill out and don't expect much.
Pleading for privacy, the White House said Obama would have no public events while vacationing on Martha's Vineyard with his family and close friends. Aides also asked that the journalists not take pictures of the Obamas' two young daughters, age 8 and 11, when they aren't with the president.
I wants “privacy”?? Then why is he having a whitehouse news conference from Mawthaw’s vinyawd? I saw Fox News was waiting for HIS APPEARANCE. The wonder of this Mess-I-AWH

Well, one of Obama’s ABC buddies (”no fair, Georgie SteponAllofUs gets all the WH attention”) Charlie Gibson (still pi$$ed that Katie C. got credit for “axing” Palin ‘tough questions’) came out and told Cindy Sheheen to “get over it.”. Yep. The loss of her son; and the ensuing grief inspired manic depression it inspired is to be “gotten over.” Obama is President...no dissent allowed.
As hideous as Sheheen was to GWBush; he treated her like the damaged human soul she is (even Limbaugh has been verbally kind) but her lefty friends, and her friends in the media...well...she is inconvenient to them. She served her purpose...and now has no use.
History will not be kind to Obama. Its not how you treat your friends that history will document. Its how you deal with your adversaries. History will show GWB to be a good; decent man.
When was ole cindy and the screaming media not disgusted with President Bush? They never let up, and are still at it. Because he’s a committed Christian...on the other hand, nobama is taking a vacation (in someone else’s house) during Rauhmadon and it’s just wunnerful. Will he be fasting during the day????? hmmmm?
The other poster was only wishing for a picture of Obama smoking with his daughters and didn't specify a reason. You took it one step further with your wish for "world peace"...
If he wanted privacy he wouldn’t be going to Martha’s Vineyard to be seen by all the beautiful people.
The last time I said something nice about his family it made the national news..so that’s all folks.

Did they take the dog on vacation with them? I’ve read, muslims dislike dogs more than pigs.
It makes me shudder to think of his prayer rug rolled up and kept under the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office.
I find it interesting, smoking cigarettes is harmful to one’s health, but smoking weed will cure cancer.

While I totally agree with you about the barf on the talking points of those parents, don't forget that the same can (and is) be said about the talking points OUR 5th grade kids are spewing...........
My daughter was in 5th grade last year and was told more than once that her parents were brainwashing her because of her support of the McCain/Palin ticket in the mock election they had in school.
I think today would be a good day for obie to demonstrate his surfing skills, or maybe the back stroke.

The "brainwashing" comments my daughter got were not from teachers. They were from classmates and kids on the bus.
Back in September/October she was very upset with me because I wouldn't get her a McCain/Palin T-shirt. There were kids on the bus wearing Obama shirts who were making fun of her because of the McCain/Palin signs in our yard.
When I had spoken with her teacher about the possibility of taking her out of school for a day to go to a McCain/Palin rally in Virginia Beach, the teacher's attitude was "don't think about it, just do it." We did!!!
Yes, but I'll bet the teacher in that class was a 100% liberal kook as well as the parents of the kids. The other kids were probably never told of the issues, and probably knew there are only 50 states, not 57 (or whatever) as 0zero stated. We let our daughter know about BOTH sides of the issues, and she picked the Conservative side.
