Environmentalists only support wind and solar if you’re planning a coal-fired or gas-fired power plant.

If you’re planning a wind or solar plant, they’ll scream just as loud.

Literally. Went to a public meeting as part of the permitting of a solar plant recently, you could hear the caterwauling for a half a mile. Of course, I don’t like solar farms either, but I don’t pretend to like them. The hippies all claim to love them, just not here.

You should never let your project be held hostage by people who are never going to be happy no matter what you do or where you do it.
