A key witness in a federal probe into passport information stolen from the State Department was fatally shot in front of a District church, the Metropolitan Police Department said yesterday.
Lt. Quarles Harris Jr., 24, who had been cooperating with a federal investigators, was found late Thursday night slumped dead inside a car, in front of the Judah House Praise Baptist Church in Northeast, said Cmdr. Michael Anzallo, head of the department’s Criminal Investigations Division.
Cmdr. Anzallo said a police officer was patrolling the neighborhood when gunshots were heard, then Lt. Harris was found dead inside the vehicle, which investigators would describe only as a blue car.
Emergency medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
City police said they do not know whether his death was a direct result of his cooperation with federal investigators.
“We don’t have any information right now that connects his murder to that case,” Cmdr. Anzallo said.
Police say a “shot spotter” device helped an officer locate Lt. Harris.
A State Department spokeswoman yesterday declined to comment, saying the investigation into the passport fraud is ongoing.
The Washington Times reported April 5 that contractors for the State Department had improperly accessed passport information for presidential candidates Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton, Barack Obama and John McCain, which resulted in a series of firings that reached into the agency’s top ranks.
One agency employee, who was not identified in documents filed in U.S. District Court, was implicated in a credit-card fraud scheme after Lt. Harris told federal authorities he obtained “passport information from a co-conspirator who works for the U.S. Department of State.”

I would assume that if there was anything for them to find they’ve had it for a while now... I’m making another assumption that they are biding their time, or it’s part of their “file” on him.
Obama is an idiot to take on the CIA though. If there is ANYONE in this world that has the power to take him out either politically or physically it would be the CIA, I presume... It is a little disconcerting though considering Russia, and Israel have BOTH been reporting on his eligibility since the beginning...
Not just more difficult, but a hell of a lot more dangerous now... God bless those CIA agents, and the SS agents who are on the side of Liberty and Freedom...

These compartmentalization “walls” prevented, as you will remember, an FBI agent who got a lead on the 9/11 attack from getting any action from her superiors.
And Clinton turned the CIA into a buncjh of desk jockeys, causing operational agents to resign in large numbers as they could not handle the “corporate” type of regulations imposed on them, which torpedoed their operational efforts.
Bush tried to remedy this by putting an operational person as head of the agency but the entrenched desk jockeys, happy to hide behind the crippling regulations and avoid any chance of a mistake on the operations arena, opposed his strong efforts to put the agency back into an effective organization.
At that time, other intelligence agencies around the world also stopped exchanging information with us as it was no longer secure.
BTW has anybody stopped to wonder why E-bay is selling GM vehicles?
Isn't it a bit out of the normal functions of E-bay, though very profitable when structured along the lines of the way E-bay functions.

The owner, Omidyar, is apparently a very devout MOslem and has trimmed down his bead to a neat Arab size. I've a vague memory of seeing his photo with a huge full facial beard like the Imams.
And for blocking every legal effort of someone to sell an Obama Kenyan birth certificate on E-bay. The document may or may not be valid but the sales effort was legal but refused under various technical excuses.

1. $20 MILLION to identify and disclose human rights abuses in THE USA to offset the ones reported in islamic iran.
Our suggestion will be to spend a ton of this money on disclosing the human rights abuse of jimmuh the Idiot Carter, who brought Khomeini in 1979 to power and has since plagued the world with the ensuing result of his stupidity.
2. The other item, $30 million will be spent to help Persian language TV broadcasts in the USA to technically upgrade their equipment.
In reality a thinly disguised budget to buy/bribe their co-operation and set up pro-Mullah broadcasts.

The CIA is not temperamentally suited to oppose Hussein. The CIA is staffed with largely left wing and Liberal(an almost imaginary distinction these days) Ivy League recruits and normally stays quiescent under Social Democrats but actively undermines Republicans who are too stupid to replace all the desk jockeys when they come into office. They just went obediently to the wall for Carter, worked happily, if ineffectually, under Clinton and assiduously sniped at and undermined the last three Republicans.
