One audience member asked the former Presidential contender if President Obama didn't realize that some of the changes he's calling for goes against the Constitution. Sen. McCain responded that he's sure the president respects the Constitution. Some town hall attendees booed the senator's response. McCain added tried to hush the boos, reminding the room that the president of the United States is owed respect. "I'm sure that he respects the Constitution of the United States. I really do. I'm absolutely convinced of it," Sen. McCain said.

This is why, for the first time ever, I voted libertarian in the last election.
All I have to say is if the GOP picks the McCains, the Romnys, the Huckabees, the Gulianis, the Thompsons et al. to run again, I don’t care how much Obama is screwing up, we will lose by a real landslide this time around.
BTTT!
As much as it pains me, If the GOP is going to keep letting McCain speak for them, they need to get Rid of the Elephant and replace it with BOZO.
Obama understands the Constitution, he just does not like what it has represented from its very beginnings. For example, the first right in the Constitution is the right to private property. Obama does not favor that right...he likes “renters”. He has commented in the past that important redistribution and other socialist issues were not accomodated at the time of the Constitutions’ writing related to his lifelong marxist likings.
McCain is vastly remiss and misinformative in not qualifying and expanding his statement, as he is remiss about so many other matters, in common with so many of his Senate colleagues.
You gotta love a bunch of old geezers taking money from Social Security well beyond what they put into it and on medicare that is bankrupt calling into question the constitutionality of Obama spending money....
The custom of "Senatorial Courtesy" really doesn't extend to the President.
"why doesnt my senator get it?"
Oh, McQueeg gets it alright, just as my own two corrupt traitors (Feinstein & Boxer) get it. All three have breached their sworn oath of office and deserve to be removed.
Our problem can best be understood now as an open fight between the corrupt political class in Washington (employees) and the voters (employer). For quite a long time now, these losers have behaved and acted as if we work for them rather than as provided by the U. S. Constitution.
Why we need to get rid of the Republican party, part XXXVII
Interest happens; inflation happens; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division are REAL.
Time to review elementary school lessons.
Mercy, what a clueless tool.
What are you smoking....are you a mole troll? At any rate if you meant to say what you said you are an idiot of major proportions!
theres audio proving that obama does understand the constitution, “its a document of negative liberty”, he just don’t like it or respect it
Did you leave your brain somewhere?
” Interest happens; inflation happens; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division are REAL. “
How about ‘compound interest’??
bump
So says the man who spearheaded Campaign Finance Reform. I’ll take my constitutional lessons elsewhere Senator.
It could happen. On the other hand deflation is also real.
