The first of four alleged members of a black gang scheduled to be tried for murder for the torture-slayings of a young white couple has been found guilty on multiple counts by jurors in Tennessee.
WND reported just days ago when the trial was begun for Letalvis Cobbins on counts of first-degree murder and others for the 2007 deaths of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom.
Carjacking victims Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom The brutalized bodies of the victims showed evidence that the attackers had tried to destroy DNA evidence by dousing Christian with bleach and Newsom's body was burned beyond recognition.
Jurors now will consider during the second part of the trial before Judge Richard Baumgartner whether the death penalty should be applied to Cobbins, 26.
According to a report in the Knoxville News Sentinel, Cobbins was convicted today of all crimes against Christian as well as first-degree murder for both deaths, but not of the charges involving the rape of Newsom.
"He raped my daughter. He's responsible for her murder. I've said all along he's going down," Gary Christian, Channon's father, told the newspaper.

LaKevin. Letalvis. Saran (as in "Wrap"). Cleophis. It actually helps when the painfully politically correct Media refuse to mention whether the perps in a given crime were white or not. As soon as you read that it was allegedly "Pappy D" who pistol-whipped "Hun E. Bunnz," it's pretty much a dead giveaway.

I’d almost forgotten about this case. And you’re right, there is a media blackout. Guess they don’t want to appear insensitive to the perps. Nevermind that the last minutes and hours of this couple’s lives were not given the same sensitivity. Sometimes I just have to remind myself that God will sort them out later.
I just don’t know how, as a father, you show restraint and not cut these SOB’s throats right in the courtroom and save the hassle. I would not be able to be restrained....no way no how.

That is true, but don’t underestimate how many different “uneek” names a white parent can create using the first letters: B, K or J. I work at a pediatrics clinic. lol
I can’t imagine the pain that those parents and families have gone through.
They deserve the right to pull the switch.
Yeah...I’ve read about the story some. From what I understand, they had to bring in a jury from 150 miles away because the case was so......ugh.

Never mind the huge resurgence in Irish names.
I just came up with the theory recently that maybe those Irish names are popping up all over as a subconcious backlash against all the “uneek” black names.
This crime is a vision of the future if “Color of Change” wins.
Irony being what it is...I can now find MY name (Danielle) on all sorts of personalized magnets, keychains and whatnots but I have a very difficult time finding my kids' names on anything! lol (Amy and Anna) Go figure!
