Gee, given the mood of America, and anger at Democrats, and the fact that the Kennedys are not as beloved in middle America as the liberals think, it might be counter-productive to name this bill after Ted Kennedy.

May it meet the same end.

They want to call it the Alcoholic Car Ride off a Bridge Bill?
I am ok with it. The name justifies the results.
Consequently, God Bless Ted and his family. May God have mercy on his soul and be with the family.

We can sink copies of the Kennedy Health redistribution bill in cash for clunker cars in local lakes.

When they tried to rush this in before the August recess, they forfeited their right to a mild, civilized debate. The bad guys set the tone of it, and they (except Sen. Kennedy) have to live with it.

Rename the bill after Kennedy and the symbolism would be perfect: Kennedy died waiting for the bill to be passed just like hundreds of thousands of patients will die waiting for a government bureaucrat to decide whether or not they will get medical treatment under the bill’s provisions.
