Why do you have a problem with this, GGG? It is out in the open, totally above board, and, let’s face it, the camp is evangelizing absolutely no one. The parents have already done so, evidenced by them sending their kids to this camp in the first place.

“Institute for Creation Research”?
LOL.
“Research”?
Really?
Cuz, they’re pretty much relying on ONE BOOK.

I guess they won’t be telling any ghost stories around the campfire.

As much as this is distasteful to me, the parents of these kids do have the right to send them to whatever camp they choose.
Of course, parents are held responsible for how they raised their children when they stand before God, so. . .

Hey! Why stop there! Please check out this link:
Various Religious Summer Camps
And I will await your posts on how you disagree with these groups on the details of "creation". Self described groups listed in the summer camp catalog include:
Anglican
Bahai
Baptist
Bible
Catholic
Christian
Episcopal
Jewish
Latter-day Saints
Lutheran
Mennonite
Methodist
Muslim
Other Religious
Presbyterian
And if you drill down on "Other Religious" you get:
Wiki's
Native American Faiths
and (I kid you not...)
"Social Justice and Environmental Stewardship"
Are you going to post diatribes against each of these other "belief system camps" where they disagree with your YEC accounts? Or are you going to go "soft" on them because, "at least they believe in something"? I hear those Catholic Camps might actually mention "evolution" when talking to the kiddies about the life found in the great outdoors. Where is the consistancy of your convictions?
See, in our society, we have the freedom to engage and promote thoughts and opinions we find appealing.
Want to send your kids to Creationist Day Camp? Fine.
Want to start your own Creationist Day Camp? Fine too.
Don't want to send your kids to Atheist Day Camp? Also fine.
Want the entire world to think and believe
exactly as you do? Not fine. Not even possible. Dangerous, in fact. If you want to live in a society where religious opinions and beliefs are a matter of law, where opposing beliefs and opinions are
illegal try some country under Sharia Law.

The way I see it is that religions people should not attack when reality threatens belief.
What was it that Jesus said on the cross?

Holy crap, this article has nothing to do with your made up title ‘...Darwin...” . Evolution never mentioned, or Noah’s Ark either.
More nonsense from you !

Camp Questwith the tagline Its beyond belief!bills itself as the first residential summer camp in the history of the United States for the children of Atheists, Freethinkers, Humanists, Brights, or whatever other terms might be applied to those who hold to a naturalistic, not supernatural world view.[1] For all those kids who have no idea why they're alive. Because they're parents won't tell them.

Free thought as long as you worship the doctrines of Darwin and hate any other thought. Real free there!
