Verse numbering typo. Verse 8 is not properly part of the section.
9. Whom shall one teach knowledge? And whom shall one make to understand the message? Them that are weaned from the milk, them that are drawn from the breasts?
10. For it is precept by precept, precept by precept, line by line, line by line; here a little, there a little.
And this is the goal of the "left"!
Will the "old-style American" let this happen?
Time will tell.
I for one am not too optimistic!

Obama is clearly not his own man. As you note, he has no experience in running anything and his worldview is essentially stunted.
Rahm Emanuel is an obvious candidate for the role of Barack Obama's "controller" -- as a political "property". David Axelrod is the campaign strategist who guided the property into the office.
Both are members of the Chicago political hierarchy -- as is Obama himself. So, I would start the search for a "kingpin" in that city.
A reading of Michael Barone's column for 8/22 in USN&WR is instructive.
Recall that there is a connection between Obama and William Ayers -- the Weather Underground terrorist -- that was much closer than was reported. And William Ayers' father -- Thomas Ayers -- was a bigwig Chicago industrialist who was also very politically connected.
A good working hypothesis is that the chain of command runs from Obama to Emanuel and Axelrod, back thru Ayers and his father to............Soros? Or is it a national entity, rather than a personal one?
Thanks for the quotes.
The government borrowing money is taking it out of the producing part of the economy just as taxing it is. Borrowing money is either paid for with future taxation or by inflation which reduces the value of the money the citizens hold. It is taxation just as much as is the income tax or excises.
>>Verse numbering typo
Not a typo. Was pasted directly from PC Study Bible.
Here’s the KJV for the same section with verse 7 included for context:
Isa 28:7-13
7 But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
8 For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.
9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
13 But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
KJV
>>Verse 8 is not properly part of the section.
Disagree, the key is verse 12:
“12. To whom it was said: This is the rest, give ye rest to the weary; and this is the refreshing; yet they would not hear.”
IOW, God gives a plan for reconciliation which the people reject in favor of drunkenness and ungodliness; a behavior for which God brings down the Law...
Can I go to questions about your world view? Are you a Christian? Do you believe in absolute truth? It is OK if you say no to either of these questions. I might move on if you do but, you do not need my approval. You are very intelligent and an impressive communicator.
"So we move at breakneck speed in order not to miss this rare opportunity when the radical leadership of the Congress and the White House for a brief moment clinch the reins of power. By the time a shell-shocked public wakes up and realizes that the prescribed chemotherapy is far worse than the existing illness, it should be too late to revive the old-style American patient."
You can certainly Email him yourself. He answers his Email. But I think I'm safe in saying this is rhetorical, inter alia, from the musings of the Left.
This is the goal of the left, yes. ImpBill says he's "not too optimistic" that "the 'old-style American' will 'let this happen.
The only question any of us can answer, optimist or not, is whether we, individual selves, will let this happen.
I'll die or languish in prison before I will live under the Regime outlined in the House versions of "hell-care." This is not my preference, but I'm not going to participate. Fine me, I won't pay. Jail me, I won't be alone.
I like your attitude brother. Perhaps we will be cell-mates.
I wonder where the gulags will be?
Free-Republic has a large following of "old style Americans". The Republic at large - that is where my pessimism lays. The vast majority of them, IMHO, don't have a clue as to what is going on.
But, again, I do like your attitude!
I pinged to this article here: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2324718/posts
But as I always say, the more VDH the merrier
:^)
Not if a sunshine law, a term limited bill requiring that the Congress renew it, is required like the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban, if the GOP gets behind the eight ball. I would prefer to kill to kill Obamascare. We already have too many underfunded liabilities, e.g. the Social Security ponzi scheme, Medicare, Medicaid, SSI, SCHIP, etc.

Paying for Le Treatment: Nothing is free certainly not French health care.
Is global warming causing global cooling?
Some noteworthy articles about politics, foreign or military affairs, IMHO, FReepmail me if you want on or off my list.
A sunshine law is not gonna happen.
Do they often vote on keeping Social Security or MediCare?
You just see what happens if they try to abolish an entitlement program, even if they were making up for it elsewhere. I still remember the printers going nuts when food stamps went to EBT cards.
Do they often vote on keeping Social Security or MediCare?
Not yet, but that doesn't mean it won't happen. Social Security is a Ponzi scheme which can't be sustained forever. Docs are refusing not just Medicaid patients, but new Medicare patients too.
yes. I usually search by a single word only (no punctuations, must be at least 4 characters), if it’s a relatively new article and two for older, and then have to look through the list of titles, sorted by time. Once in a while the search won’t work and will show nothing and somebody later will point out that I missed one. Oh well.
Anyway, I think good articles deserve to be posted multiple times because it increases exposure and more people will read and comment. There are other “tricks” as well. Most of what I post qualifies for a topic “editorials”. Next day, if it was outstanding, I can add topic “front page” to bring it on top again. But, anybody can add a topic, so I had this strategy spoiled for me by others eager to bring attention to the post right away and putting it to all possible topics immediately. It works for a short splash but bad for a staying power.
