Islam is 100% extremist, confrontational and utopian natured in the darkest of ways ever known to mankind. It cannot stand without Jihad. The West celebrates Sharia Law thru banking...it cannot be separated as a tool for use and profit without accepting the rest of it. Like a bagged tranch of derivatives, it cannot be broken up for distribution. No wonder, UK took Churchill out of the textbooks since its conquering:

Enough of this “winning their hearts and minds” crap. Muslims have been waging war on the non-muslim world since their religion came into existence. Their religion orders them to give the infidels two choices, submit to Islam or dhimmintude and pay the jizya tax. That’s their idea of winning hearts and minds.
Where the hell is the reprocity they want a peaceful co-existence? What in the hell have they done to “win the hearts and minds” of those in the west that theirs is a religion of peace?

The way I read this, the general seems to be saying that it is Americans causing the problems with the moslems! Crazy talk!
Mistake one, they hate us for who we are not what we do.
Mistake two, being liked is overrated which is why appeasement never works. Fear is a far better PR tool for deterrence.
